The food here is always A+. We have never been disappointed. The staff is always friendly & the times we've had to wait has been short & worth it. The meat loaf, beef stew, beans & fried potatoes... all good! Buttermilk pie is worth a go also. When going down I-65 swing into Franklin & visit your new Aunt Judy.

Aunt Judy's is a comfortable down-home kind of place. If you want a very relaxed simple, location, it is here. With good service, great food this is a local eatery you should visit. It is located within walking distance of Franklin College and downtown Franklin, Indiana. Say hello to Aunt Judy!

To say this restaurant is in a strip mall doesn't do it justice-- it's a stylish brick building next to a wooded creek area. The pale yellow walls and wood tables & chairs reminded me of my mother's (or my aunt's) kitchen. We went there on a Friday, and I had the Alaskan Pollock special and my wife ordered a... More

I've only been to Aunt Judy's for lunch, but I know that when I go there, I'm going to get a good, quality just like home cookin' meal at a reasonable price with good service. Lots of "regulars" each time I go.

We stopped in Franklin for dinner on way back from Indy. Parking lot at Aunt Judy's was pretty full so we stopped. 7:15 and only room for the two of us. Special for the night was fried chicken or fried chicken livers. She had the chicken. I had the livers. Both came with a choice of two sides from a... More

Thursday is fried chicken day. I had this and mashed potatoes and green beans. I also shared a huge piece of coconut cake with my hubby! It was so delicious.....country cooking at its best!

This is a great place for a Saturday morning breakfast. Nothing fancy, just good food and friendly service.

The fish was cod and it was so big it didn't fit the bun, 2 large pieces. Very good and crispy along with large portion of French fries! My husband had the baked tenderloin along with two sides, another option was homemade chicken and noodles. The Thursday menu has the fried chicken which is a great choice. While we were... More

I am a local citizen of franklin, and I love this restaurant. It is the best kept local secret this town has to offer regarding good places to enjoy lunch and dinner. I personally enjoy having lunch at this establishment. Whether it is with friends, family, or business colleagues, this restaurant is always at the top of my list for... More

I would say Aunt Judy's is Franklin's best kept secret. But considering that they run waits most of the time, I don't think it's so secret for southsiders. We discovered Aunt Judy's two years ago when making a Franklin College visit. And, we make the drive to the restaurant at least twice a month. Although the menu is small, the... More
