My family likes to eat here at least once a month. I know a lot of people go to Athens for their fried chicken, but for me, it is the rib eye, with the Greek salad. I love that salad. The service is always great, and I love the gyros here as well. It's a nice place to go with... More

Small little restaurant in a strip mall but we were pleasantly surprised to find a multitude of dinner items to choose from, along with a great soup & salad bar. Wine available should you so desire. We were very pleased with our choice of restaurants after a long day on the road.

The food was good, not great. As mentioned in earlier posts, the decor looks like it hasn't been updated since the family started the restaurant in 1973! The whole place is very tired looking - like most of the staff [even though they where very friendly]. We had the Gyro and Chicken Gyro sandwich plus onion rings.

Lots of local following and dine here often. It's family owned and they take pride in providing lots of food for a good price. The chicken is good. Nice to see the salad bar update a bit with more items but it will do. They pack a lot of people in a small are so some times it is very... More

I am more often than not on call 24/7 and its very hard for me to cook any meal. As soon as I do I get called to work. Athens is a place I have gone to my whole life. I have read many of the reviews and agree somewhat. The place needs a good re-model in the worst way.... More

My family went here for my mother's birthday. She got the tenderloin sandwich and raved about it. I got the gyros sandwich and was presented with two tomato slices, a handful of sliced onion, 'lamb' that clearly came in frozen slabs, and ONE greasy pita bread (greasy as in I needed to wipe my hands after picking it up). There... More

I had the fried chicken. My wife had the gyro sandwich. Both were very good. The wait staff was very nice and helpful as well. The decor is dated. While I can appreciate the frugalness and nostalgia of places that have been around a while and choose not to be mainstream with hip decor, this place needs a gentle refresh.... More

First impression is not good. The decor is dark, dingy and looks more like a funeral parlor than a restaurant. Definitely needs a make- over. The service is always very good - which it should be since there's rarely more than a few tables occupied when we've gone in. The food is always delicious - my husband loves the Greek... More

This is a popular local watering hole. Went with friends who are regulars. Not a particularly inspiring decor or cleanliness. Although nice folks and good service. I had the salad bar that gave me a sour stomach almost immediately. Both my wife and I felt sick by time we got home. I had the lobster and wife had steak kabob.... More

The food was disgusting. It was greasy, and bland. The dining area was filthy. Picture a mixture of dust and grease coating fake plants. Our server left the resturant in the middle of our meal and was replaced by another and we weren't given a heads up about the replacement.
