The dinner & movie package hosted by this wonderful little restaurant & benefiting a local treatment center for drugs & alcohol was just a wonderful experience to be a part of. The food and people were great! We will continue to treat ourselves to this local charm in the future!

Well this restaurant has been in the same location for YEARS. I remember it seems over 40 years ago. The past several years it has become somewhat a "greasy spoon". They closed down for several months and did a complete facelift! It reopened not too long ago. I have been there twice for lunch. They are open until 2 pm... More

After being in the area all my life, last week was the first time I had breakfast at Ann's. It is newly remodeled and the food is very good. The portions are generous and service is great. I highly recommend the place for breakfast. I can't wait to go for lunch.

I eat here on the average once a week. My favorite is their veggie melt, and it isn't your normal skimpy sandwich. This one is loaded with goodies, and comes with homemade chips with ranch dipping sauce. Actually I could make a meal of the chips and sauce.

I had lunch here about 11:30 on a Wednesday in mid-July. It was over half full and had a nice old-fashioned small town cafe feel. It's only open for breakfast and dinner (closes at 2:00). My cranberry apple chicken salad took awhile but it was absolutely fresh and delicious! The chicken was hot and well seasoned and perfectly sliced for... More

It would be easy to miss Ann's Restaurant even if you were from around here. But it sits right behind the historic courthouse here in Franklin, so that should help. The menu is simple, the atmosphere is casual and relaxing, the service is always spot on, and then the food. Everything is made to order so it takes a little... More

Just ate here for the first time and will be back soon! It is almost impossible to find hometown restaurants like this anymore. Everyone enjoyed their meal, I had the pork loin (one of the specials of the day), which was excellent. Fed 4 adults and a 2 year old for $32! You can't even buy fast food for that... More

This is our third visit to this long standing off the beaten path local eatery. Each time the service is friendly but excruciating slow. Portions each visit have been generous and the lunch selections tasty. Especially enjoyed the apple raspberry walnut salad and the wrap. The wrap is toasted which I'm not fond of. We had a vegetable soup that... More

I love eating at places that are a bit off the map from time to time, and Ann's Resturant in downtown Franklin is somewhat of the map because of it's non chain nature and it's history. Ann's has massive servings of food (you leave hungry only because you fail to consume what you were served) and the best iced tea... More

Looking for something different yesterday, a friend and I opted to try Ann's Restaurant in downtown Franklin. The diner is located across from the Courthouse, but not on the busy Jefferson St. side; Monroe is parallel to Jefferson on the other side of the Courthouse. When we walked into the restaurant for a late lunch around 1 p.m., we were... More
