The restaurant/bar is in a historic building in downtown Franklin, IN. The staff is very friendly and they have great pizza. The other menu items are very good as well. A one of a kind destination well worth a visit.

We opted to take out of town guests to the Willard on a Saturday evening just prior to a movie at the wonderful Artcraft Theater directly next door. This was our third trip to the Willard; on the first we enjoyed the pub food and decent prices. On the second we awkwardly waited in the hall until a hurried waitress... More

Burrito platter was great, personal pizza had tomatoes that seemed mushy and old but all in all the food was good and priced right. Was a busy Friday night and the noise in there was extreme due to the building structure type and lack of soft goods mostly a design fault in order to keep the old time atmosphere but... More

We always get the oysters and they are perfect. You get a lot for your money. You can sit outside and it makes you feel like your on vacation.

We stopped by only to have a snack and ended up "full". The food here is great and the service couldn't' be better. A great place to sit outside and watch the "world go by". No rush. We were there about 1:00 in the afternoon and had enough lunch that we didn't need dinner. A sure stop when in Franklin.

We love the place. When the kids and family come home to Franklin, it is the first place we all go. It is a Franklin tradition. The service is excellent and pizza to die for!

Everyone time we pass through Franklin we make an attempt to have lunch or dinner at the Willard. It is a local place that the food remains consistently good! The service is great along with the prices. You can dine in the bar or outside and people watch! A must if you are in Franklin!

Somewhat disappointed in pizza. Did like the union rings. Coke tasted diet and weak. Switched to u sweet tea. You have to seat yourself, so someone behind u coming in will grab seats out of order. Should be a better way of seating guest. Compliment? The place was packed, all ages, fun singles place maybe.

I love the old-hotel atmosphere there. If you like your pizza loaded with cheese, you'll love the Willard's version. Service can be slow sometimes, and the prices are nothing to rave about, but the food and drinks are decent, and I always have a good time there. There is some outdoor seating, too.

We visited on a Saturday night when a lot of people in town were out for a fund raiser and it was pretty chaotic. The Willard doesn't do reservations, which is fine, but they also don't do check-ins either; it's seat yourself. And when there are lots of large parties already seated, a lot of people (in even more large... More
