Nicely decorated, good service, but my duck breast was dificult to chew. My friend had a similar experience with his beef.

Fine dining for a small town! We ate there on a Wednesday evening, and it was surprisingly lively. It was a fine dining experience that you don't need to dress up for. Prices were a little high for the portions, but the food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the duck and my husband ordered the salmon. Both were served beautifully.... More

We had dinner at the Indigo Duck last evening. The Meal was fabulous the service excellent and the ambiance a delight. I had the duck and my wife the Scollops The flavors were "to die for" If I had to be critical it was a bit pricey, but worth every penny.

The Indigo Duck offers fine dining in a small town, intimate atmosphere. There is something for everybody on the menu from big steaks to small plate items for smaller appetites. We love the Crab Salad which served on avocado pancakes-Yum. The bar is small but offers complete service and the wine selection is quite nice. Our only complaint with "the... More

This restaurant has been open for several years, but I'd never tried it because it didn't suit my more "meat and potatoes" food preferences. But I went recently when a friend who loves it suggested we meet there for lunch. It's a very popular lunch and dinner choice for many local residents and also draws in people from Indianapolis and... More

We dined here last night and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. With four diners we were able to sample many menu items. Portioned perfectly for a three or four course meal, prepared in an unhurried and thoughtful manner, the food was what we would expect in a high end restaurant in much larger cities. The preparations were creative and had a... More

So glad Siri found this restaurant for us. So pleasant and enjoyable. Great service made the night fun. Crab salad and fried oysters is what we had, very good. Nice atmosphere

Excellent food served in a setting reminiscent of a South Carolina setting. Sunday brunch is a special treat! Beautifully prepared and served.

I came to visit friends in Franklin and they took us to the Indigo Duck. We live in Hilton Head Island SC. they have a southern influenced menu straight out of Charleston with ingredients from the Lowcountry. The food was really good and it was a nice change for the north!

There are good reasons that the Indigo Duck was named as one of Indianapolis Monthly's top 25 restaurants this year. The restaurant has a lovely, subtly southern charm. The menu is true to the theme. The She Crab Soup, with a splash of sherry was perfection. I rarely say "wow" about a dish, but this one earned it. We had... More
