Great great burgers

First time I've had this place and it is outstanding. The sliders are superior to White Castle. We even had burgers that had been out for a while as we had them cater an office party and they were still tremendous.

I stop here every time I get to Fort Wayne. Are these gourmet? No. They are two bite explosions of fatty flavor. Get three with a bowl of chilli and a Pepsi. Do not get them to go it will take weeks to get the aroma out of your car.

I grew up going to Powers Hamburgers. They are tiny burgers with grilled onions. They are so delicious! I remember going there in High School and my male friends would try to eat a burger in one bite. It was fun to watch. :-) There isn't a lot of space in the restaurant, mostly counters with twirly stools, but it... More

A very unique style for burgers. Grilled onions all over, steamed buns. Thin burgers. The coney dog was awesome, with a nice flavorful chili sauce. I used to come to Powers back in 1994, almost the same flavor memories 21 years later. Malt was great as well.

This is the best place ever to visit and dine. Don't miss out, go visit today! The onions are grilled to perfection and the buns are small and full of flavor. You must order 4 or more or you will be sorry!

This is the kind of place that you will either love or hate. I love it. Old time slider grill with onions galore. Good mid-western chili, also other grilled items. No fries, chips instead. You can order heavy, regular, lite, or no onions on your burgers - but you will smell like onions for quite awhile after being in there.... More

Powers is a little "White Castleish" place near downtown. Only one booth and counter. Food consists of burgers with onions and some simple breakfast items and chilli. There is just one small grill. The food is not exceptional. The service is always friendly. The heartburn is predictable. The nostalgia makes it all worthwhile. When we lived in Fort Wayne we... More

I went back to Powers for the first time in over 30 years. Nothing had changed. It's a crowded restaurant with a plain white, worn-out interior. The service was fast and friendly. Although the man behind the counter had no time for idle chit-chat, he kept my coffeecup filled. The cheeseburgers were better than I remember: crumbly piles of beef... More

After twenty years, I forgot how good Powers Hamburgers are. Thank you for not changing anything! Besides the best burgers anywhere, the counter service was friendly and professional.

We went to Power's for the first time today. We sat down at the counter which was nostalgic. The restaurant is clean but very small, perhaps smaller than Coney Island if possible. We sat down and told the server that it was our first time there. She told us about how things work and was very friendly and helpful. I... More
