We had the best cheeseburger sliders, loaded up. This is the best place around for quick burgers and awesome chili. I go out of my way just to go there, I would recommend Powers to everyone! 😀

Hands down the best slider on Earth. My dad would take us here when I was a kid and I take my kids here now! My record is 18 or 20…good luck!

Full Disclosure: My late father worked at Powers when he was a kid. It's a landmark in downtown Fort Wayne. I still love their burgers buried in fried onions (and they're four-bite burgers), but what really shines is their chili.

I and Powers were both "born" in 1940. My parents took me there on a regular basis in the 1940's and I still take my grandchildren there. It is the hamburger version of Coney Island, a must see for anyone passing thru Fort Wayne. Just follow your nose, you can smell the onions for blocks. The place is small, 1... More

Have eaten at this establishment since 1960. The % of the sandwich over the years have gone from more hamburger to less hamburger and more onions. However, they are still tasty and if you buy four of them you will have a good sandwich. Friendly people are there and they are very fast for the amount of people they serve... More

Powers has excellent chili and the burgers are very good as well. You can't expect a lot from a slider. I have had White Castle and in my opinion Powers beats them hands down. I am realatively new to Fort Wayne and a friend of mine who was born here took me there. It is a greasy spoon and no... More

When I first moved to Fort Wayne Powers crept into a White Castle conversation. "Oh try Powers, way better than White Castle." Of course I didn't by that but decided to try them just to try them and because they are a Fort Wayne staple. Worst burger I've ever had in my life. Absolutely no flavor outside of onion, meat... I heard this place was something not to miss out on when in Fort Wayne. I wish I would have just missed out on it. Not my cup of tea
