My wife and I made a reservation to eat here on a Saturday night, and the only seats that were available were at the bar. That was okay, because we figured that it would be a more interactive meal. I titled the review "Superb Experience" because it was more than just the meal. The food was up to its usual... More

In the summer of 1990 I was assigned to work from the Ft Wayne area and assigned to the Hilton downtown for my arrival. As my work allowed me some chance to roam the area for a radius of 100 miles I had the chance to meet lots of people and eat lots of different places and communities. Most anywhere... More

Went there on a spur of the moment on a Friday night, seated us immediately, the service was great, shrimp cocktail appetizer was awesome, bread was incredible, both our entrees were very good, my wife did a 1/2 & 1/2 entree and she was glad she did, scallops and golden bass both were superb. It's a fun little spoy.

Yes, it's small, yes, it's expensive, but it's a great choice! Kudos to them for letting us eat quite late (we were returning from a trip to Detroit) and the place was about to close and they managed to serve us very well. The drinks were great, the atmosphere is very interesting, highly recommended.

Oh yes. The seafood au gratin is a spectacular treat. Lots of seafood -- they don't skimp on the ingredients. Good steaks too. Very small and intimate. Please like if you find this review helpful.

The Oyster Bar is conveniently located near the downtown area and is a short walk from the Hillton Hotel that I frequently stay at. The fresh seafood selections are always excellent, and I especially like the fact that they will let you select two "half orders" of almost all their entrees. Even having the opportunity to try two totally different... More

Visited on the recommendation of Trip Advisor. It was a great dinning experience. We were seated at the bar as each seat is reserved. Raw Oysters are bay oysters. Fresh and meaty. The cooked oysters were offered in a variety of styles and each unique in taste. The clam chowder was the best. Full of tender meaty pieces of clam... More

I had lunch here for the first time in many years, and I'm pleased to say it hasn't changed a bit. Excellent food and cocktails for very reasonable prices. The Seafood Au Gratin is to die for!! In my opinion, the best Fort Wayne has to offer.

This place is so small and so old it's totally classic. I'm not sure if world travelers would have the same feeling but I just love this place. If you have the time I would totally recommend it. If you can go for the front room.
