The Oyster Bar was highly recommended and we were not disappointed (too much.) We started with a couple of (premium) Manhattans for $9 and then a couple of glasses of wine. We opted for the $2 upcharge salads. I had the Grouper Pasta ($25.95.) She had the special where one gets one half of an entrée (she ordered Filet) and... More

Always amazing food and atmosphere. Best Seafood Augratin ever! Would recommend reservations as the seating is limited.

My wife and I have been easting frequently at the Oyster Bar for over 30 years and have yet to have a meal that was not exceptional. It may not be LA, NY, Chicago or other "big name" city/restaurant but for a great meal, perfect service, value and experience The Oyster Bar has to be one of our all time... More

The Oyster Bar is small - thus reservations should be made for dinner - but the place is quirky cute - and best of all the food is superb. They have great specials for lunch daily. It is a fun place to go - with the added joy of great food.

The Oyster Bar has been knocking out great food for decades. The front room is intimate, if a little tight at times, but that's part of its charm. Great seafood, from simple to highly creative preparations. Servers are knowledgable and talented. And the friendly proprietor, Steve Gard, is likely to stop by your table to check on everything. I've probably... More

I was taken to the Oyster Bar by a local. It was an awesome experience. The ambiance is wonderful with a very intimate feeling. The drink specials left me with a heady feeling and the seafood I got was the best. You are able to order two smaller portions almost as a sampler. The place was busy; so reservations is... More

We've been going to the Oyster Bar since the late 90's and always have had a great experience. Our last visit was no exception. The atmosphere is so elegant yet cozy and casual with all the charm a late 1800's building should have. For openers I had the Black & Blue Oysters and my wife had Fried Oysters. The oysters,... I am absolutely in love with the Oyster Bar. I always joke that if I'm ever put on death row I want their chocolate mousse, calamari, and a big glass of wine. I've read some of the negative reviews (just to see if there even WERE any)- I worked in the food industry for a while (first job at 16... More
