Fun and tasty!

Nice cozy Hibachi restaurant. The chefs were entertaining and very good at their craft. The Hibachi Steak is my go to and is always good to eat.

If having a little comedic show while the chef is cooking your meal is appealing to you, this is the place. It's a little over rated and over priced. If you do not have a group of 8 in your party you will be sat with another group.

My husband and I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. We were able to get in at our reservation time and the seating was excellent.

Had a great time at this restaurant in Fort Wayne IN. Family celebrated Grandmother's 100th birthday. The food was good, the chef put on a great show and the staff brought grandma desert and sung happy birthday to her, a good time was had by all. Would visit this restaurant again.

Takaoka is a ft Wayne landmark and I want to love it, but I just can't. The prices are high, the atmosphere outdated, the food average. There are better hibachi places in town.

It's been 20 years or so since I've last been here and I'm glad we went. We tried them during the Savor Fort Wayne event (2 meals for $30). I ordered the chicken and my husband the tuna steak. The couple beside us were regulars and could see the bond between them and the chef (he treated them to extra... More

This place is really worth a visit. Even if you are not into Japan cuisine. It's more about the experience. It's mostly entertainment with some good food. I did not like all the foods they served, but their shrimp and steaks are really good. I just love to watch the person perform while preparing your meal. There's fire, knives, throwing,... More

Horrible customer service! Had a 4:30pm reservation Saturday 11/15/14 for 4, 2 adults and a 6 & 4 year old. The 6 year old requested the dinner because he remembered having fun there several other times. Brought along an extra adult & we arrived at 4pm. Was told we wouldn't be able to be seated until 20 minutes or so... More
