Great Meal on a Winter's Night

This is a yearly pilgrimage when visiting friends in Ft. Wayne. Always good food with fresh salads, diverse wine list a little too focused on cabs for a fish restaurant, and cozy bistro atmosphere. The variety of entrees is impressive with preparation varied enough to please any taste. Prices are... read more

Prices are most reasonable. Cynthia is a fabulous waitress, pleasant , attentive,... More

Wonderful food, excellent ambiance. Loved the place and the food. One of the best seafood restaurants I've tried. Great house salad and great variety in their menu.

This is one of Fort Wayne's best restaurants. I frequently take clients to lunch here. It is also a birthday favorite for family dinners. Atmosphere is eclectic and "cottage". cozy and comfortable. Fresh sea food is exposed for viewing upon entry. Favorites are the Walleye planks for an appetizer, the clam chowder. I have never had a bad entree. My... More

We enjoyed lunch at Paula's twice in the last month, and both times, the food was fresh and nicely prepared. The blackened salmon with blue cheese was a perfect combination of the mild fish with the strong cheese and spicy blackening ingredients. The fried walleye was steaming hot with perfectly seasoned tartar sauce. Server was attentive and proactive. Even though... More

We've been there several times and it's always very good. We generally sit at the bar so table space is not an issue. For two of us we usually order the walleye plank appetizer and split the salmon salad. Plenty of food. The service is always good, Very pleasant and attentive.

Seems to be a popular restaurant. Atmosphere, when cramped for space seems way too busy. Service suffers. Noise is way too loud! Food is good!

The atmosphere and service were awesome! However the king crab was even better! Have not had such great seafood here in Fort Wayne so far from the ocean! The place was packed, yet service and quality were top notch! Definitely the place for that special occasion or just a great meal!

It's hard to find quality seafood in the Midwest (it's usually fried to cover up the fact that it's not fresh). However Paula's serves not only quality, creative seafood dishes but also a variety that you just can't find outside of Chicago or Indianapolis. The spectrum of palatable dishes is quite impressive and the ambiance is pleasant and quaint. You... More

I took my sons and one of their friends for a nice dinner and we were kept waiting and waiting and waiting. We had to literally get up and find a waitress or the water assistant every time. The problem was our waitress had a party of 10 she was catering all her time to. They should have given us... More

I really like Paula's. It's a great place for really fresh, top of the line seafood. The food options are on display as you walk in. The charm of the place is its electric layout. Clearly, this is is not part of a national chain. The inherent problem with Paula's is the fact that service always has been slow. There.... More
