The restaurant was nice (but a little cold). The menu had the normal steakhouse suspects; nothing out of the ordinary or with a WOW factor. The wine list was decent. My dining partner & I shared the walleye finger appetizer. A nice plate of about 6 or 7 fingers atop a bed of Thai chili sauce and garnished with a... More

This is not a spur of the moment opinion, but a second chance. We have been in Ft. Wayne now for 6 yrs. and have been looking for "THE" restaurant. We tried Chops for lunch 2 yrs. ago after a friends recommendation. It was O.K., nothing that left my wife and I a wow after the meal, it was nothing... More

Bill and I visited Chops in Fort Wayne and we were greeted at the door by a nice young lady that held the door and helped us in with my husband's wheel chair. We at in the main dining room. Bill ordered a strip steak prepared medium rare to perfection. I ordered the crab cake appetizer and they were something... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal at Chop's... all the more so as I had a very similar meal the evening before at Baker Street and Chop's came in $20 less expensive in spite of my having a pricey wine. I started with the house salad, which is included with the entree. I was a bit skeptical as it;s based on... More

This place has the BEST food!!! In my opinion, the best place to eat in Ft Wayne! A little pricey (we usually go for special occasions) but a great value for you get!! Atmosphere somewhat noisy and a little dark, although, a great ambience!! Service wonderful!!! Definitely worth a trip to Chops if you have never been!

Been here several times. Great food, great service! I wish they had a few more options on the menu. I usually just stick with a filet, which is always delicious! Cooked perfectly. It's not too noisy, bar area is nice too. There is no outdoor seating if that is what you're looking for. I recommend!

Started out with the jumbo shrimp appetizer, which was fresh and excellent. I had the crab cake entrée, and my companion had the prime rib. My meal came with three crab cakes and more than enough rice and vegetables, which consisted of a broccoli/cauliflower mix. The vegetables were nice and tender. The bread was so soft and fresh you crushed... More

I really couldn't find anything to complain about. Great wine list and some awesome steaks. The price was just a tad high but not enough to complain. If you want a very nice meal served by a very professional wait staff then you will not be disappointed.

This is the best family owned restaurant in town for a good dinner. It seems more dressy for adults but children are still right at home. The service is spectacular and the owners are very hard working. They are usually the ones greeting you and placing you at your table. This is definitely a must if you are haven't visited... More
