So great!

I love this place. Some people judge since one time it had cockroaches, but they are all exterminated and the food is as good as ever. One of the best japanese places in town!

With my wife and daughter, we were unable to get into a favorite local restaurant on Saturday night and ended up stopping here. It was full, but we didn't have to wait long for a table. The house salad dressing was nothing special. The miso soup was good. We had a variety of sushi and my 10-year-old daughter had the... More

3.5 stars 2b fair. House salad is so so. The house soup is a miso style w/rice and mushrooms. It has excellent flaver. Probably the best miso soup I've ever had. The sushi itself is avg to slightly above. The rolls are good sized for what you pay. Not a bad place to go, but if you dig you can... More

Really good sushi rolls. Share 3 rolls and it will include accompaniments. Not a bad value -- although not cheap. Add a few drinks and the bill will get up there.

The food was excellent, the service fabulous and the ambiance was perfect. The music a bit out of place, but quiet and unobtrusive.

Love this place. The wife and I compare all sushi places we eat at to this. Ranging from places in Florida that supposedly have 4 star ratings and all they had were 4 star prices to all the pop up places lately. No glitz or glamour about this place, it's in a sort of strip mall but the food is... More

You can't go wrong with Asakusa. Seems there are often new sushi restaurants popping up in Fort Wayne, but nothing beats Asakusa. They have a huge selection of rolls, and the service is always outstanding!

We went to Asakusa because of the rave reviews on Trip Advisor, and we're glad we did. There were three in our party and no one was disappointed. Not much flair as far as the decorating and ambiance, but we weren't there for that. We wanted good food at a decent price and that's exactly what we got.

This is pretty decent sushi, but I can't give it 5 stars for a number of reasons. The ginger in good places is NOT dyed pink and should not be shredded into tiny pieces.. The list of sushi is rather tame and Americanized, no quail egg or conch for instance. The spinach in the spinach salad and Futomaki roll was... More

We are in town for the weekend and wanted sushi. We found an article online that said this place would "blow your taste buds out of your mouth", and I totally agree with that statement! I had two sushi rolls and my husband had the grilled teriyaki salmon. We were both extremely happy with our food and are every bite!... More
