If you love coney dogs this is the place to go. Best in town. Old vintage style decor, with lots of nostalgic pictures of old Fort Wayne on the walls. Sip a coke through a straw of a glass bottle, with a couple of dogs and you will be quite happy.

Coney Island is a Fort Wayne institution - it's been around 100 years and not much has changed since they started serving Coney Dogs and Chili when they first opened up for business. I'd definitely recommend eating in - though they do a brisk take out business as well. If you miss Coke from the glass bottle you can get... More

Coney dogs are always a destination when we are in Fort Wayne, The dogs are steamed just right. We usually take them home but you can eat in the restaurant. They put out a lot of hot dogs in a short amount of time and done exactly the way that you request them. This review in making my mouth water!

A unique experience if you dine in or a great taste if you carry it out. The original coney with mustard and onion is wonderful. The chili is very good with a great mix of meat and beans (no pasta). A great meal or quick snack well worth the visit.

Chili dogs--original taste, no frills, just delicious. Go back in time at the hole in the wall in the center of this friendly city that serves great flavors with no frills. Hot dogs, chili, burgers, pie. Simple. Straightforward. No ferns. Just friendly vibes and great coney dogs. If you've never tried it, please do! You'll remember what life in the... More

While working the other day a buddy suggested that we swing in for some dogs. I ended up getting the burger. I don't know how they get those burgers so juicy, but they sure can do a burger right. I love to look at all of the old pictures of how Fort Wayne used to look and what things used... More

To have the old type tables and counter, brings us back to another era. The hot dogs and chili dogs are great and a cold coke in a small bottle top off a fun time.

Coney dogs, chili, homemade pie, Coke in the original bottle. Step back to the good ole days and sit at the counter for excellent service and food!
