This is a go to place for a good fish sandwich or just to meet up. Prices are reasonable. Service is prompt and friendly. It is often jammed during the weekends. Takeout orders are available.

The chicken strips are good but the fries are ok. The salad was ok as well. The staff was friendly and attentive.

Very good food, great local place. There is a full bar here also. Some patio seating if weather permits.

We had our Christmas lunch scheduled at Sams in New Albany but it burnt down. Sam moved our party of 40 people to Floyd Knobs. Instead of a buffet we ordered off the lunch special menu. The food was cold, service very slow and staff very negative. We prepaid $15 a head and the actual meal there was only $8.... More

A large group of us met for dinner here. I ordered the pot roast dinner and my wife ordered the whitefish dinner. My side dishes was the onion soup and mac and cheese. My wife had the onion soup and vegetables. The food was decent. This is not a gourmet restaurant - but is a nice tavern serving food that... More

The cheese sticks are a great started if you want something fried. If not get the blackened tips or heck get both. The get the fried shrimp. If you want something more healthy (why?) you should get the blackened chicken. All of these are great choices. Did I mention the cheese sticks :-)

I stopped for carry out and placed my order carefully, being specific about what I wanted. I got my food home and I did not have the proper dipping sauces I asked for. I got horseradish! I ordered soup. I bet it would have been good - except I crushed up the crackers they provided me. They were stale and... More
