Love this place

If you wasn't from the area you would probably never stop by this restaurant. But you would be missing one of the finest places in the area. Known for their Arabian salad homemade pita bread and the best steaks. Don't miss this one!!

Way to expensive! Staff was very friendly salad great, food was good, but the bread was like a large soft tortilla which they charge 1.00 each, drinks a can of coke 2.00. Hummus was runny and overwhelmed with garlic. For 2 people to eat it cost of 60.00 which I thought was crazy. The building itself need major renovation, very... More

This place sure is different. Nothing bad just don't see me going back on my next visit in town. I was able to get over the Christmas decorations but the cash only was a killer. The closest ATM was a few blocks up the street in not the best neighborhood. The portion size was just huge which is not good... More

Straight from Diners, Dives, and Drive ins-The House of Como is unique to say the least. Very popular place. I called 3 hours ahead in order to get reservations. Christmas garland trim the rooms, Santa Clauses and horse track pictures cover the walls. Not a place to go for the aviance. But a topical Guy Fieri favorite. The Mediterranean style Restaurant... Wife and I stopped in on a whim after the Shrinerfest Air Show. It was only 4:30 and the hostess told us they wouldn't be open for dinner until 5:00. The outside appearance of the establishment gives reason to pause but the interior was nice with real tablecloths and folded napkins. On our waiters recommendation we opted to start with... More

Reservations are a must in this odd out of the way restaurant. The outside of the restaurant is what students call as "sketch" but when you walk in you will be pleasantly surprised with the white table clothes but shocked to see several statues of Santa hanging around in the middle of July. The clientele at the bar is the... More

If you don't care for tacky Christmas decor, it won't take you long to completely forget about it....the food is just that good! We've been coming here for many years, as have many other locals. The menu is varied, including some Arabian, and Italian dishes. But the steaks are what keep us coming back time and again. The wait staff... More

This is our second time to House of Como and we can't wait to go back. It would be classified as a Dive but the food is the best. It is Lebanese but also has the best steaks you have ever had. The Italian fare is great also. It is off of the beaten path and looks questionable but don't... More

It was my first time going to House of Como, and I was truly hoping for a higher quality steakhouse experience. I asked the waitress what they were known for, and she mentioned steak. I ended up ordering a Filet (Medium), however it came out initially Well-done. The waitress apologized and promptly refired the ticket- it came out this time... More

Chicken Djage is the best. The most tender chicken you will eat....served on a bed of rice. The salad and homemade pita bread is wonderful. Pork chops are another favorite. Very warm and inviting atmosphere, complete with Christmas decorations year round. Reservations are needed and no credit cards are taken...cash or check. Unexpected location but so so good.
