When we visit Evansville, Los Bravos is #1 on my family's places to eat. The food is good and plentiful, the service is fast. The salsa and chips served almost immediately is fresh and homemade. Pretty good Margaritas, too. Los Bravos was started by a Mexican family many years ago and now has expanded to 7 locations in the Evansville... More

Terrible service is always to be expected. The free chips and salsa are okay, as long as you don't smell them (they smell of wet socks). I have never ordered anything from this place that has not been dry and burnt. I ordered a taco salad once, and they even managed to burn that....? The restaurant is smelly and dirty.

Very average Mexican food, or maybe I should say boring with no effort to make the food stand out. Beef enchiladas were corn tortilla, ground beef, and enchilada sauce. They could drastically makes these better. Ground beef taco only had beef and cheese in it--no creativity at all at this restaurant I definitely enjoy Taco Bell better. And the water... More

Here in Evansville, IN. with Family so we all went out to Los Bravos. The atmosphere was authentic. The Los Bravos staff wanted to make sure that your experience was a good one. The food was fantastic. My wife had the Steak Mexicano & I had the Steak Tacos. Both were very tasty and the price was very reasonable. Awesome... More

3 of us ate here tonight...and one night last week, and once or twice the previous week. Yes, it is one of our "usual " spots. It's convenient, we love the food, and its fairly quick to get in and out. We had some of our usuals: chimichanga dinner, burrito dinner, and one of the combination dinners-- my fav, chile... More

Early lunch with 3 adults, 2 3-year-olds, and an infant. Seated quickly in area removed from central seating and served immediately with chips and salsa. Waiter was quick to take beverage order but a bit slow with delivery (had to ask for drinks because child was coughing). Food order taken and delivered quickly by different staff. Had to request item... More

Stopped here on a business trip. Read about the cheese dip and the chicken on the beach so I tried them but was not impressed. The cheese dip wasn't anything special. The chips and salsa were fine without the cheese dip. The chicken on a beach was interesting. I liked the shrimp and chicken version. Spices on the shrimp and... More

If you are familiar with Mexican food, you will not recognize much of it here, but it is adjusted for the Evansville pallet, which is salty and fried generally...but we like it better than Hacienda for sure. Qdoba is the best for Mexican food, but not located well for us, so that Los Bravos is the next best. Pleasant service.... More

I've heard great things about Los Bravos and so we tried it. I wasn't that impressed. The tables were tiny, the salsa not great, and my meal was a little overpriced. But the part that I didn't like most was the waitstaff would stare at us while they waited for food to come up or people to decide what to... More

This is the best mexican restaurant in evansville! Great salsa and food, and good service. Super quick too.
