I would prefer potato pancakes that are not deep fried, or the potatoes that were not hash browns deep fried. Seemed like a nice spot, clean friendly tons of hel p and great service. But after that the food left us underwhelmed. Of course seeing that I am not a deep fried anything probably skews my review.

The atmosphere, service and food at Mayberry is 2nd to none! Great food and really good prices. Why eat at McDonald's when you can have great food for about the same price?

This is a great place to meet and greet friends! There is often a waiting line, which tells me the food is good and people return. It reminds me of Cheers, where everybody knows your name.

We ate here for breakfast our first morning in Elkhart. The extensive variety of flavored creamers was a nice touch. The food was pleantiful and well made. Admittedly it is hard to screw up breakfast. This place reminded us of the breakfast place we frequent at home. Large portions, friendly and efficient staff and reasonable prices describe what you will... More

Excellent food for breakfast (biscuits and gravy are awesome, plus lots of great omelet choices) and lunch. Lots of specials every day and they are all done very well!

This place has the best biscuits & gravy I've ever had. I stop in there on my way to work several times a week and order them with a side of tabasco, delicious!

Will definitely go again. I felt like Andy, Barney and Aunt Bea would visit our table. Very friendly wait staff. It is technically not 5 Star dining but it was great 5 Star diner food. Best patty melt I've had in years. Breakfast was also quite good. Yes, I had a patty melt for breakfast and then I had pancakes... More

The breakfast burrito is OUT OF THIS WORLD...scrambled eggs and other goodies, along with bacon or sausage, wrapped in a flour tortilla. Hmm, good so far, but then they put sausage gravy over the top, and it is the added touch that makes it awesome. The omlettes are wonderful, they never have the browned egg edges, ever. The fiesta omlette... More
