Typical Cracker Barrel meal in Elkhart. Spent our time waiting for our table in the git shop, looking at all of the various products. Service was satisfying and accurate. Good, satisfying, homestyle cooking. Everyone was satisfied with the quality of the food and the portion size.

Since we live in the west, we don't have Cracker Barrel restaurants and I've usually enjoyed visiting them in the past. So, when lunch time arrived and I saw a Cracker Barrel sign at the Elkhart, IN exit, we pulled in and parked under a large shade tree as it was really warm and we had our two doxies with... More

We stopped to eat after traveling late...about 9:00pm...people were friendly, but the food was a little lower quality than it would be in peak hours. Dry and just not as good. Someone decided to clean the dining room as we were eating...they were sweeping vigorously....made me wonder what 'extras' I might be getting in my food, and the noise from... More

Our server was new (she told us) and she did ok for a new person. Some meals were wrong, but she did correct it. The food however, was terrible. Hash Brown Casserole was old and dry and seemed burnt. It was not edible. Bacon was very under done. The country fried steak was extremely dry and over cooked. The BLT... More

Enjoyed our stop at the Cracker Barrel. Food was cook and Hot. Best Lemonade! Didn't have to wait long to be seated or to get food.

Really good food and large portions. Can't complain. Little bit expensive but not too bad. We only go maybe once a year.

This is one of our favorite chain restaurants when traveling as my wife loves to spend time in the gift shop looking for things to buy the grandkids. Several years ago we bought one of their rocking chairs they have on the porch and felt it was a good quality for the price. Except for special days like Easter or... More

As with most Cracker Barrels the food was good and predictable. My only complaint at this location tends to be the local patrons. Is it really that hard to control your children? I know the staff doesn't want to offend people but kids running around while mom and dad stuff their faces and text gets a bit annoying.

I enjoy taking my family to the Cracker Barrel for our family dinners out. I like the country atmosphere and the friendly staff. The store always has lots of adorable items that I want to buy in it, and it keeps the kids entertained while waiting on the food. The food is always hot and delicious.

While vacationing in Indiana we were hoping for a good home cooled meal in the small town of Elkhart. I love the chicken and dumplings at the Cracker Barrels in Texas and was hoping to get the same quality at any Cracker Barrel. We were so disappointed in the meal. The dumplings were OK but the other sides (mac &... More
