We have eaten at the Spread Buffet a number of times and we can tell that it's getting better each time we eat there. As buffets go it has many stations and alot to choose from. Seafood and Italian at one area and Asian with Mexican next. The meat station has ham, steak and turkey. I LOVE the mashed potatos. The... More

The buffet at Horseshoe Casino is now called THE SPREAD. The food is plentiful and for the most part pretty well done. You have multiple stations to choose from. You have Asian, Mexican, Italian, and then you have American comfort foods. This last section consists of fried chicken, mashed potato's to die for and much more. My husband loves the catfish and... Loved the food. Everything was excellent. Really loved how Kevin went out of his way to make my pasta exactly how I wanted it. There is something for everyone. But $42.78 is a little much for a buffet for 2 people.

Now called The Spread. Went there for Sunday morning brunch. 2 people cost $43 and change. The only thing I liked was the biscuit. Bacon was a big greasy blob. Cornish hens looked dried out and unappetizing. Not nearly the selection like when it was Paula Deen's place. Desserts were the only good thing. Won't be going back when at... More

I like the food, the staff was always great and friendly. I dislike she is gone and how Paula Deen was treated over all. This case was dismissed but the restaurant is gone.

I'd heard so many great things about this restaurant so we decided to make the hour drive to the Horseshoe Casino to eat there. We waited in line over an hour only to receive the nastiest food I'd ever had. It was overpriced and nothing worth driving that far for. The food was bland, they kept running out of crab... More

Food was ok, not a friendly waitress and never came back to refill drinks. I would have furnished napkins and doilies for under coffee with name on it. A lot of us like these little souvineers to bring home. I would have taken Polaroid pic and given them out......Free ......just to show how much your business meant. Everything does not... More

Like so many on here I was anxious to eat here. Well I wish I had went to Burger King instead. Long line to get in. Incompetent staff. Our "server " gave us our drinks and never returned. The buffet kept running out of things. Food tasted horrible. I walked out if there feeling as though I had been robbed.... More

My husband and I took 2 of our grandchildren (ages 16-female and 10-male) to Thunder Over Louisvile 4/20/13. The Show was GREAT! We certainly cannot say that about the Paula Deen Buffet. We were staying at Horseshoe, so my granddaughter and I were drooling to get in the buffet and eat, we had talked about it for months. We were... More

On Holy Saturday evening, with hotel and casino sparsely attended, we went to the steakhouse at five pm to make a reservation for two for later that night. The steakhouse had just opened for the day. We have eaten there before and found the food quite good, even if pricey. Well, FOUR women were attending to one customer. After about... More
