Food has always been good.Atmosphere is up scale.Service has been hit our miss but the food makes up for it.Good place to eat
We go to Lucrezia in Chesterton and Crown Point several times a year. It's a good basic Italian restaurant, but nothing fancy (there are many far better Italian restaurants in Chicago). Service is always good and we like the atmosphere, and it's a reasonable value. If we want really good Italian we drive to Chicago. If we don't want to... More
To be honest- we went into the restaurant with high expectations. We have been to the one in Chesterton, and loved it! We both are in the hospitality industry; he's a chef actually! We were seated for 10 minutes before we had our drink order taken- and that was after I flagged someone down. Keith was out server, he walked... More
We moved from Chicago and were so pleased to see a restaurant that "feels" like the city. Great bartenders, servers were helpful, food is amazing (with gluten free options!) and the atmosphere is of "old Chicago". I brought 8 friends from out of town and they all raved about it. Highly recommended!
I can't say enough good stuff about Lucrezia. The staff there is so amazing and friendly! They learn the names of their regulars and you walk into the bar and Matt just puts your drink In front of you! The food is awesome and the kitchen will accommodate your order to your needs. The gelato there is to die for... More
Hardwood floors which are beautiful not help the acoustics. Noisey. But the atmosphere and food quality make up for it
We really love eating at Lucrezia's in Crown Point. The food is excellent and the service is great too. The only negative comment is that it gets really loud in there and it's hard to have a conversation without having to practically yell across the table. When the weather is nice this problem is solved by eating in their outside... More
The dishes always seem to be just a bit more interesting than similar ones in other restaurants. The garden is quite lovely when the weather permits.
I was here for lunch yesterday with a group of 11. Our server, Keith, was very good! The decor of the dining room leaves something to be desired (considering the prices). I ordered the duck. It came with a cherry sauce, asparagus and potatoes. OMG, it was so good!! I hesitated ordering it because it was the most expensive item... More
The food is rally pretty good, I have always had good service. The only problem I have is that the tables are too small. When the weather is good enough, you can eat outside and the tables are of good size.
