We went there for a Birthday dinner and was going to eat a full meal... At first we ate the normal sushi we eat at another local sushi place and then the waiter recommended the Derby Roll. WOW This roll was DELICIOUS! I am more of a non spicy-sweet person and this was perfect! So we opted out of the... More

My husband and I decided to try Kansai after getting a recommendation. We were not impressed with their entrance. The restaurant sort of sits hidden in a plaza with dark front windows. The one in Clarksville is huge and offers the hibachi style dining and sushi. We were impressed with the variety of items at economical prices. You can order... More

A friend and I went here to have some sushi and quiet conversation. I was very impressed with the spacious feeling of the restaurant and the decor was spot on. This being my first trip I went with a rainbow roll and boston roll. Both were excellent and of good size and portion. Service was fast despite being busy and... More

This is one of the few places to get sushi in Clarksville and it's tucked away behind a Famous Dave's. The place is very large and has a nice ambiance. I ordered the Crispy Alaskan ($15) and Yummy Highlander ($12) rolls. The portions were very big, almost making the price worth it. The service on the other hand was very... More

I've gone here twice for lunch. Both times I've waited to be greeted or seated for 10-15 minutes and left. It didn't look terribly busy either time. Both times the hibachi chef looked up st me but no host or server ever acknowledged me.

Owner was very friendly, excellent service, better bi bim bap than I found in Chicago, sushi was amazing, and I also had the lobster tail hibachi style which was very good. Great inexpensive mai tais, too. When in the area for business, we will be sure to come here!

This was my first time at a hibachi grill in several years. The food was AWESOME and the chef was funny. The chef really tried to get everyone at the grill involved. Make sure you ask your waiter what to order...I was a little bummed that I ordered something that was cooked in the back and not on the grill.... More

I went to Kansai for special occasion and the experience at the hibachi grill was one to remember. Second trip was for sushi a new indulgence for me which I really enjoyed. Midnight roll and spicy tuna were my choices for my third ever sushi attempt and I was highly impressed. Will be a regular from now on. Roll on... More

I am not a sushi eater myself, but my husband could live on it! We took some of our family that was visiting from CA and they ALL enjoyed the sushi that they ordered!! Our 16 year old grandson couldn't get enough of the Dragon Rolls!! Since I like my meat cooked, I had the Chicken Teriyaki and it was... More
