And yes it has changed a bit. But when I tried it a few years ago to introduce my husband to the place I was not dissapointed. I remember eating these meals as a kid. The onion straws...coleslaw...hushpuppies. Amazing. And today they are almost as good..but not quite. That is ok though the nostalgia and the fish is still fantastic.

Not the best hours, but probably the best seafood. Very tender fish, kind of like I've had in the northeast. They do a good job of making their food.

For the money spent, I would suggest going to KingFish or Red Lobster. No atmosphere. But the staff was friendly.

September 3, 2014, Wednesday 11:00 am Clarksville Seafood has been a mainstay of Clarksville for many years; as a kid I enjoyed their amazing fish dinners. But, I hadn't eaten there in about 10 years, so since I was in the area I decided to revisit one of my favorite restaurants of all time and introduce my daughter to the... More

I ate here for the first time in a couple years and was sadly disappointed. I've been eating here for more than 30 years. This place used to have the best fish anywhere but today it was terrible. I get the feeling they're buying something cheaper now. I also had one piece that was not cooked in the middle. The... More

This place has been around for many many years and until lately had realy crazy hours. In spite of the crazy hours everyone seems to learn the hours and packs the place at dinner time. When I first started going there the guy behind the counter added all the money due in his head and was never wrong. They have... More

This is a tiny hole in the wall restaurant located in a shack. The same men have been running it since the 1960's. They have secret recipes and rightfully so. This flown in fresh daily seafood is melt in your mouth delicious. I always order a side of onion rings instead of the fries, they are much better. The scallops... More

I am a fish snob. I eat more fish than most people I know and could eat it for every meal if I was able. When it comes to breaded fresh fish there are few that can compare to Clarksville Seafood. I have been going to this location for seafood since the 1960's and still manage to eat there atleast... More

We returned to Clarksville, 1/4/14. The fish had improved 100% since last time. Onion rings were still a little soggy, but tasted good. I have found if you order a side order of rings, instead of substituting for fries they are a lot better. Moving the rings to the side, instead for under the fish would help a lot. I... More
