I have been going to this restaurant for over 30 years since moving to Chesterton. I like the breakfast & lunch menu, the wait staff is efficient & friendly, and the cost is very affordable. I wish the owners would realize how the carpeting makes the eating area look and feel dirty.

The staff was great and so was the food. We tried their oat meal, waffles and multi grain pancakes. The decor of the place with the theme of cars was interesting. The menu has a para on the 1st page with rules and regulations and was interesting plus fun to read :)

This place is like one of the best breakfest places to go. Been going here for years now and we love the place. Always good food, good conversation and laughs. Never had a bad plate of food. Come on by and stop in and sit a spell, and you will fall in love with the place!

My wife & I stopped-in for a late lunch while in the area on a mini-vacation. We're glad we did. The food was the typical fare that you would associate with a diner, and was prepared both well & quickly. My only comment is that I wished my mashed potatoes would have been slightly less watery. Our waitress, who also... More

We went in for breakfast and were treated by a young lady having a bad day. That lasted 1 minute. When she came back, she was pleasant and efficient. Plentiful coffee ( a must for breakfast). Got the Corvette special (eggs, bacon and half waffle). Great value and cooked to perfection. If we're ever in the area, we'll go back.

My hub and I were taking a trip to the Indiana Dunes and decided to try one of the two diners in town rather than eat at the hotel, which I wish we'd done. Scrambled ? eggs were totally pressed flat, and the sausage links were totally cold. Server was friendly, which made the experience average rather than poor.

We had Breakfast, and it was good! But I was a bit disappointed being I have only been here once before, and the atmosphere needs major upgrading as far as decorating, and cleanliness! My fork was sticky as if the soap was not thoroughly washed off, ugh. No, I didn't want to complain, but used my water to wipe off... More

This place is the essential home town hangout. There's nothing fancy here, just good food served lightening quick for not a lot of money. Our server knew almost every one by name. She was a bit of a drama queen but had great rapport with her clientele. We stopped by on a lark after leaving the traffic morass of the... More

The whole thing needs to be cleaned up and remodeled. It's just not my type of place to go to. I lived in that town growing up and l don't think that place has been cleaned up in as many years as l have been gone, long time.

Food was mediocre, but seems like nobody is there to just "eat." Everyone knows everyone and is there for the socialization. The decor is all cool car and racing stuff and waitress' are all super friendly!
