Impressively good seafood at a restaurant located in a landlocked state. Very cute and trendy restaurant located in Clay Terrace. I had delicious scallops and sat outside and enjoyed the Indiana summer weather with a glass of wine. Although I went by myself, this place would be good for groups too.

Charlene did a great job of taking care of our anniversary dinner!Trout with lemon butter kept it simple, the Lobster bisque was excellent and the salad huge. Add a dessert on the house and the night was wonderful. OBTW the menu had Happy Anniversary Printed on the top - nice little touch

Probably the best tuna steak I have ever eaten since moving to the Midwest. Service was good but for the price I thought the server could be more attentive.

Your best bet is to eat appetizers only. This was our second visit and we, again, weren't pleased with the meals. They are overpriced and the fish didn't taste particularly fresh. I'm from the East Coast and grew up on fresh fish. This isn't it. I don't mind high prices if the food is fresh. In fact, with my salmon... More

Husband and I went for lunch. It was late...2 in the afternoon. Very few patrons. Never having been, it took us a bit to decide. I finally decided on a cup of gumbo and the sampler with 2 sea scallops, salmon and 2 shrimp served over steamed spinach and rice. Nicely cooked, portions were good, service good. Would I return?... Finally! The midwest has fish, and wow does Mitchell's do fish well. I had the blackened sword fish it was good, but to be perfectly honest I was worried about not getting a good piece of fish. Blacken anything, it will taste good. Well, the swordfish was fresh blackened very nicely. A good choice even though I was playing it... More

My husband and I ate lunch at Mitchell's because we wanted to experience more than one of the usual chain restaurants. This was an excellent choice because we love seafood. The menu has such a nice variety that we had difficulty making choices. I started with the house salad which had a light balsamic dressing and included pine nuts and... More

Party of 5 for dinner on Saturday night, around 8pm. Despite many open tables, hostess sits our group near a loud and maybe drunk party of 12 who'd been there for a while. We asked to sit else where after a while, due to volume and foul language from the rowdy table. Request was accomodated, perhaps took a bit longer... More

We went here with a group of family members. We hadn't seen each other for a couple of years so we talked a lot, and this probably was the cause for our server to be pushy and intrusive which irritated me. However, overall the ambience was great, and food devine albeit a little pricey, but well worth it.
