This was our first time visiting this restaurant. We had a group of 6. It was our monthly couples dinner out. We were seated right away. Our orders were taken. We received the soups and salads. These dishes were cleared and we expected our dinners to follow. And then nothing. This is where the service ended. Our dinners did not... More

Donatello's has expanded it's seating over the last few years and they have a few tables outside now as well. IT is located on the Main St. of downtown Carmel, IN. The decor is done in an industrial theme in red and black. It does have white tablecloths, but it is fine to wear jeans. The menu has a good... More

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining here over Memorial Day weekend. I had the mushroom ravioli special. It was excellent. I highly recommend it if available. My husband had the filet. He said it was perfectly cooked and he enjoyed the brandy sauce. I started with the Caeser salad and my husband started with the seafood bisque.... More

Stopped for lunch during the Automobilia show. Wild mushroom ravioli and Fettuccine Alfredo were spectacular. Service was excellent. Would definitely go back. Side salad and bread were average, but the pasta was first rate.

Ten of us had a late dinner here on a Friday evening and were not disappointed. The food and the service were excellent. I particularly liked the Roman chicken.

Went with a friend, the items we ordered were cooked just fine, but the items weren't anything special. I could have made the same chicken dish at home, there wasn't any creativity in the presentation or the style of cooking. The waiter was the owner's son, who was very convinced the restaurant was "all that" of the restaurant world. He... More

Unfortunately we didn't get to even try the food here. Just walking down the street and a waiter came flying out a door and almost ran head on into us. When we commented about it, his reply was "Sorry but we were on HIS property." We didn't realize that sidewalks were private property but beware and STAY OFF HIS PROPERTY!

This restaurant is located in the Carmel Arts and Design District, affording the opportunity to walk around and enjoy the galleries and shops. Our foursome all liked their meals. I had a great spaghetti marinara dish, two others had chicken and one, salmon. We all shared a delicious tiramisu. All was not perfect, however. Two salads had onions, after a... More

Awesome food and very reasonably priced for the high quality freshness. They are family owned and offer service like they really care. Several Gluten free items on and off the menu Waiter, Sam knew his stuff. Save room for the great deserts. We ate grandma's vanilla coconut cake and it was outstanding.

This is real, authentic, local, amazing food. It's really hard to beat a place where the grandmother makes the tiramisu, the grandfather's recipe is used for the cheesecake, and the mushroom risotto makes grown women weep with joy. In summary: of the dozen times we've been here, we've never had anything close to a bad meal, the staff are amazingly... More
