Always a good choice for great atmosphere and good food.

This restaurant is one of our favorites for lunch and dinner. The decor is unique because they've retained the look of the old library that it used to be, the waitstaff is always wonderful, and the food is consistently good. On our last visit late in December, my husband and I both ordered prime... read more

We love shopping and walking around the Art District. We love eating at all the spots around there as well. We decided we hadn't given Woody's a try...well we wish we never did. It was a waste of our money. We ordered fried pickles to start....$6 for 3 pickles spears cut up and fried? The smallest and most overpriced appetizer... More

Located in a classic old library. Many wide choices and tastes. Never had a poor meal. Always great service and friendly folks. Love it.

If I lived her this would be my local favorite. Located in a former library, it is charming and so comfortable and casual. The food was outstanding and our server was delightful. Just loved this place!!!!

The upstairs and downstairs are very different. They share the same menu, but the upstairs is quiet, and a nice place to go for an intimate dinner. The downstairs is a low bar out of the 70's with TV's so you can watch the games. The food is fantastic. I would recommended it year round.

Recent choice for an early dinner @ the Library in Carmel left us very disappointed. To begin, my Martini was weak and the onion rings with our less than dazzling burgers were very bad...soggy and barely warm. on a plus note, we split a lettuce wedge and this was perfect. Probably will cross this place off my list of independent... More

We lived within blocks of this place for months before we realized it existed. It's tucked away about a block from the busier section of main street, in the old library building. The food is classic with a twist. For example, their mac n cheese is made with egg noodles, and their BLT has avocado. The atmosphere is casual. We... More

Have been here many times but last visit was very disappointing. Went with my 14 year old son and it was Prime Rib night, which I had just a few weeks earlier, and his wasn't cooked right and when it came back it looked funny to me but he said it was fine. Finally I took a bite of it... More

This is a unique restaurant in the Art and Design district of Carmel. We had a salad and BLT, so pretty basic, but both were good. The outside seating was nice, providing a view of the street. Inside had lots of neat "library" features. The waitress was great. It seemed like lots of "locals" gather here.

This is a former Carnegie library that's been converted into a restaurant. The upstairs is for nicer dining, but I haven't been up there yet. The basement is more like a sports bar with a great bar and plenty of TVs. The menu has plenty of items to choose from and the beer selection was extensive. Our food arrived promptly... More
