We lived within blocks of this place for months before we realized it existed. It's tucked away about a block from the busier section of main street, in the old library building. The food is classic with a twist. For example, their mac n cheese is made with egg noodles, and their BLT has avocado. The atmosphere is casual. We... More

Have been here many times but last visit was very disappointing. Went with my 14 year old son and it was Prime Rib night, which I had just a few weeks earlier, and his wasn't cooked right and when it came back it looked funny to me but he said it was fine. Finally I took a bite of it... More

This is a unique restaurant in the Art and Design district of Carmel. We had a salad and BLT, so pretty basic, but both were good. The outside seating was nice, providing a view of the street. Inside had lots of neat "library" features. The waitress was great. It seemed like lots of "locals" gather here.

This is a former Carnegie library that's been converted into a restaurant. The upstairs is for nicer dining, but I haven't been up there yet. The basement is more like a sports bar with a great bar and plenty of TVs. The menu has plenty of items to choose from and the beer selection was extensive. Our food arrived promptly... More

Very good food, with an ever changing menu. Plenty to choose from the husband and wife team do this right. Usual can grab a seat, but I recommend reservations as it isn't a large restaurant. Downstairs bar is a much more casual bar place.

Some reviews indicate spotty service, but my visit found the wait staff to be very attentive, polite and helpful. The menu is great for those who have food allergies, etc, as they list offerings that are best for lactose intolerance, gluten free and vegan. Very nice addition to the menu. The menu has a wide variety of choices. I had... More

Nicely decorated spot in an old Carnegie Library in downtown Carmel. Decent food. I think the quality has declined over several years. The owner now has two restaurants to run. His other place, Divvy, is better, I think.

The place just looks like it would be such a cool different dining experience, it's an old Carnegie library turned into restaurant upstairs and bar downstairs but based on poor reviews I was a little leary; it turned out to be just as good as it looks. We had tiliapia with rice and veggies and the Wednesday special which is... More

Food is not good at all and it is overprised, I would never go back. Server not friendly. Food was hardly any chicken, taste was bad, one peace of bread and some fries for 13 dollars what a rip off

After an early evening meeting my wife and decided to eat at Woody's Library since we were nearby. On Monday nights you can eat down in the bar or outside during good weather and we ate in the bar. My wife had loaded baked potato soup and I had the wedge salad to kick things off..both of us were very... More
