Very good food, with a broad selection. Attentive service, though a portion of our order was miss-handled. The waiter offered to replace the dish, but we accepted it as-is. (And it was good!) Pricing is a little higher than 'Bloomington.' more similar to Chicago.

This restaurant is elegant and delicious. The staff was attentive without being overbearing. Really enjoyed it. We went for an early dinner during the week. Uncrowded and very nice.

This has been a favorite lunch buffet for me for many years and we occasionally come for supper or even just dessert. When I had a trade group of 30 in town I took them here for dinner. Partly they could accommodate us and partly it is good food and not one of the same everywhere chains. Try it and... More

Possibly the freshest quality and most expertly prepared meal you are bound to find in Bloomington, served by professional waiters and a caring staff in an immaculately clean restaurant!! Aside from being given paper napkins (this is a white table cloth restaurant and we were surprised by the paper napkins) frankly, we are not sure how we missed trying Samira's... More

Excellent lamb, Cornish hen, shrimp kabobs. Lovely salads with salmon, etc. Good selection of wines and beers. Most highly recommended for a delightful experience !

We were driving around looking for a restaurant, and we fortunately found a parking spot near Samira's. The atmosphere in the restaurant was already so soothing and comfortable, and the gentle and professional service was the cherry on top. The food was exotic and delicious. The experience would have been perfect if the person sitting in the table next to... More

I wanted to visit since the high reviews, but it didn't quiet meet the expectations. We went for late lunch, like 1:30 pm. Quite frankly, it was dirty, but I took into consideration that maybe the lunch crowd had just left. The buffet items are served from the silver platters with lids with maybe 8 items consisting of rice, some... More

We went never having tried Afghan food, and the lunch buffet provided a nice array of choices. The hummus was a nice accompaniment and the baklava was a tasty dessert. A nice find in Bloomington.

My husband and I had never eaten Afghan food, and I suspect we had the best possible introduction to the cuisine. My mouth waters just to think of the meal we ate, and I desperately wish there was a way to get that meal in southwest Ohio!

"We closed 12 minutes ago" said the waiter. I was hungry after looking for the restaurant with the food my mother used to eat: Afghan. The good hearted waiter allowed me to enter and have a lunch buffet. It's delicious. Remember the food critique who shed tears after tasting what his mother used to cook for him as a boy?... More
