A great place to eat, and community-minded owners

Lennie's is a Bloomington tradition that is worth the visit even though it is located very close to campus (which means lots of traffic, people and sometimes parking shortages). The food is great and service is generally friendly and good as well. The owners give a lot back to their community, and... read more

Stopped in here due to its proximity to campus. Loved the beer; food was OK. Flatbread was nothing special. Cobb salad was tasty- but $16, which was really steep. I can get the same salad downtown Chicago for $12. Our server was great.

Was back to Lennie's a week ago and, as always, the food, beer & service were great. I had their crab cakes & their Impulse IPA that night. I can also highly recommend their special pizzas, salads & Ruby Bloom beer, which is one of the finest full bodied beers brewed in the Midwest. The place has interesting art on... More

Hit the release parties -- Great food and even better beer! The bacon turkey melt is a favorite lunch selection with enough for a hearty appetite. My favorite beer is the Java Porter on nitro but don't overlook the seasonal selections. You won't be disappointed.

Stopped by to pick up a growler for a local party. The beers (Java Porter & Big Stone Stout) were very tasty and served properly. We also ordered Roasted Garlic Focaccia with house made marinara. Wow, glad we stopped....next time for dinner

Took the family to Lennie's and had a fun time. I would say the food is average, which would be fine but the prices are high for Btown.

It's been a long, long time since I visited the brewery, maybe over 10 years, and it did not disappoint. Great service, great beer selection including options for different styles like cast condition and NO2. Food was great too. We were on the bar side so it wasn't as crowded as the restaurant side. Can't think of a negative thing... More

Looking for a good place to dine with a student relative and found Lennie's close by. We enjoyed a couple of their delicious beers and Stromboli folded pizzas. Very nice!

My husband and I went to Lennie's for dinner last night. We love their brunch, although it's overpriced, and we love their pizza. But our dinner was less than stellar. Our $7.25 wedge salad was just a wedge of iceberg (of course) with about 1/2 piece of bacon crumbles and maybe 1/2 of a hard boiled egg and thousand island... More

Looking for something local and a little different? Try Lennies. Quality food and selection. Great for those who want to eat fresh and watching calories. Restaurant is a little small so may try going at off times or all ahead for a large group.
