We ate at Lennie's with my daughter and son-in-law. We had to wait about 20 minutes for a table but it was well worth the wait. We split pizza, salads and roasted vegetables! - yum! The waiter accidentally spilled ice water into my daughter's purse so he comp'd her beer and our scrumptious dessert. The service was very good, the... More

Our waiter was very knowledgeable on the beer. He gave us a run down and brought us samples for us to make our decision. My sister in law said the meatballs were some of the best she ever had. One sister had tilapia sandwich she enjoyed. We had been eating so much I had a plate of their grilled vegetables... More

Twice! Lennie's left the Ahi tuna out of the Wild Beet Spinach Salad when ordered as carry-out. The first time we let it go, but twice was too much. I called, asking for the manager and was talking to him. He was immediately and sincerely concerned. By the end of the discussion, and within 10-12 minutes, the manager was in... More

Very good local brews with an eclectic menu of sandwiches, pizza and more. Excellent meatballs, salads, large portions and a filling stout. Very close to the IU campus so it can be crowded but worth stopping in if you're hungry.

Lennie's is a great place to relax. The atmosphere is very laid back and matches the art on the walls. The wait staff was very attentive and met all of our needs. We started off with the "flats" appetizer, which was flat bread with a variety of toppings. The appetizer was a good size for two people, and very good.... More

Lennie's offers seating in the main restaurant section AND the bar. The bar gives patrons views of the micro brewery in the back. This evening we sat at the bar section and ordered our wine drinks. Very good house pinot grigio and sauvignon blanc were poured generously. Nice! My flat bread with fig jam, walnuts and cheese covered with greens... More

Luckily, we had looked up this restaurant up on Trip Advisor before going or we may not have found it and if we did, probably wouldn't have given it a second look. It is buried in a dated, small strip mall. Inside, it is well decorated and bigger than it appeared from the outside but, yet cozy. There was a... More

Heading home from Indianapolis my friend and I went through Bloomington and decided to have a late lunch at Lennie's. I had been here years ago while my daughters attended Indiana University so I was familiar with their beer. Most notable back then was their Hefeweizen which was seasonal but the closest thing to a German brew I had found... More

As an IU Bloomington summer workshop faculty member, Lennie's has become a staple for our faculty group. We always celebrate our first night of workshop at Lennie's, and we normally visit several more times over a the course of three weeks. First, the restaurant's atmosphere is cozy and fun yet refined. I never feel like I'm in a pizza joint... More
