Great place for lunch

I really like their coffee, bread selections and to stop here for lunch. Affordable, good quality, convenient to downtown.

My son and I stopped in for a late dinner. We were in a hurry and they were not very busy. There were only three other tables seated when we arrived and they had their food. We ordered sandwiches. Nothing special. We had waited for 10 minutes and I asked if it would be much longer. I was told it... More

This is a great spot for lunch. The menu has a variety of items for lunch and brunch and also very tasty dessert items. This has been a favorite of mine for years! The staff isn't the friendliest and my last few experiences have let me to feel the restaurant is a but dirty. Hopefully this was a fluke because... More

Other than the average interior, our first impression of the place was the young man who took our order. Either he doesn't care about customer service or he needs training. My son liked his burger but fries were average. The Cream of Mushroom soup was tasty but the Reuben... Blah. Our other child had a chicken Caesar wrap. They make it... More

Good sandwich made with fresh ingredients. They have specials on certain days during the week but not on the weekend. Their is a good view of the activity around the Courthouse and sidewalk dining when the weather is nice. Enjoyed our first visit

There were good reviews about this place. I visited this restaurant at a time that only 6 tables were occupied. We ordered a bacon cheese burger and a club sandwich. The food finally came out after 30 minutes. The french fries with the bacon cheese burger was cold and overall the food was less than mediocre. This was a very... More

My daughters went for dinner after the lighting ceremony downtown. They both are vomiting 24 hours later - as are 3 of their friends. I reported to the restaurant and to the state. Someone needs to inspect this place - how can so many folks get this sick??????

My husband & I sometimes go here late in the evening. I always loved the turkey honey euro sandwich - a small, tasty offering. GONE! The more expensive new turkey, ham, bacon sandwich is NOT as good. Made to order food, so a little slow. Good bakery items, but sometimes a little dried out. Price not bad, but wish they'd... More

I was surprised at how slow the service was at Scholar's. I was there for breakfast, but there were no more than 10 people in the restaurant during my entire visit. I only ordered a plate of home fries and a breakfast sandwich and waited nearly 15 minutes. The food was good, but not worth the wait.

The name "Scholars" might be clever if they truly excelled in either the culinary arts or the science of hospitality management, but they need remedial classwork in both. My omelette this morning was boring AND overpriced. The cheddar cheese looked like an unmelted slab of Kraft cheese. The mushrooms were stale. An omelette was served without any sides, such as...
