Description: Ask anyone in Bloomington where you can get the best pizza and they're sure to say Mother Bear's Pizza. We've become an institution, and many students and locals alike call our restaurant home. Our crust sets us apart, but our toppings are the freshest ingredients anyone can come by. Not in the mood for pizza? We also have crisp salads, hot sub sandwiches, wings, quiche, pasta dinners, such as Chicken Parmesan and Spinach Lasagna. And don't leave without grabbing a brownie for dessert! Better yet, try our Munchie Madness: a 10" one-topping pizza, an order of breadsticks or cheese bread, two homemade brownies, and a 2-liter bottle of Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Sierra Mist, Dr. Pepper, or Mountain Dew, all for $11.95!We also serve beer and wine!We are consistently named the Best Pizza in Bloomington by Indiana Daily Student Poll, and People Magazine named us one of America's Top Nine Pizzarias! We take Campus Access and deliver until 3 a.M. Thursday - Saturday!

Mother Bear's pizza never disappoints. The food is top notch and the service is always good. It's always busy even in the off season (summer when the kids are home). Please do yourself a favor and eat here at least one time and you'll be certain to return again and again!

The best part of Mother Bears is the great selection of gourmet pizzas -- there are lots of interesting (but good!) combinations. They also have a good lunch special.

Very possibly the best pie I have had outside Manhattan. The fact that they have pie selections you can choose from and a huge list of ingredients you can choose from is fantastic and the prices are extremely reasonable.

It's been a while since I've gone to a place that has lived up to any hype. If you have no knowledge of Mother Bear's don't let the hole in the wall/dive appearance scare you off. It also might take you a few minutes to find a parking spot but the quality of the pizza will make up for this... More

Locating in the midst of the Indiana University (Bloomington) campus, Mother Bear's Pizza has been a staple of college life since as long as I can remember. Even when I was in high school in the mid 1980's, I heard about Mother Bear's Pizza as a must-go. As a 40-something-year-old, I can describe this establishment for people who left college... More

Used to eat Mother Bears pizza at least twice a week back in the 1980's when Mother Bears was rated one of the top 5 pizzas in the U.S. by People magazine. The pizza was great then. But it is even better now! There are many gourmet pizza options offered by Mother Bears now. During a recent visit back to... More

We visited Mother Bear's with our teenage son while visiting IU's campus. While the pizza was very good, the restaurant was dirty and unfortunately there was a bad smell invading our space (like a dirty dish rag). Also, there was a full chicken leg lying on the floor under our booth - not very appetizing. Despite the negatives, we still... More

Very good thin crust pizza, ample toppings. Great pizza joint, but surely (hopefully?) not the best Bloomington restaurant overall. For pizza I'd definitelygo again!

Went here on the 4th of July, after a full day of Bloomington area activities. TripAdvisor had it rated #1 in Bloomington, and friends say it's the best pizza in town. We thought Mother Bears pizza was very good, though it doesn't replace our own hometown favorite. The ingredients were high quality, and fresh! We ordered the Deluxe, 14" pizza.... More

Visiting family and friends and ate at Mother Bears. Good family food for ALL. We got the lunch special for 4 and came out with money in our pockets and our tummies full. Good service. Close to campus.
