Traveling through and the menu looked good. We started with the spinach and wedge salad. The spinach salad was excellent with pecans that had been caramelized to the max without going to the burnt side. Delicious. The wedge salad was quite tasty as well. My husband had the mudbug etouffee and it was one of the best renditions we have... More

I've had a long time to review this restaurant. Like a few in Bloomington, it's taken more than one visit to be able to say with confidence why I liked it and what to expect. I'll get the easy things out of the way. Service: Excellent. Friendly, fast, accommodating. More than I could expect for a mid range priced sit... More

First time in several years that we have dined here. The recently expanded space with nice bar and additional tables was a nice surprise. Our lunch of Shrimp and Grits was excellent. Great flavor, nice sized portion, and a great price! We shared the Blackberry Cobbler for dessert which was really yummy! The host and our server were friendly and... More

In town for three nights, and we planned our dinners around the reviews from here and Yelp (sorry). Really looked forward to this meal as the "highlight" of the visit, given the reviews. Made a reservation well ahead, and when we arrived we were seated by the kitchen access. Asked to be moved, and we were obliged. Waited a long... More

I have eaten here many times but the improvements just made recently are fabulous. Of course, that comes with a price. Everything on the menu went up 1-2 dollars. Just breakfast eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast for 2 with water to drink and one coffee and tip $30. There is truly nothing under seven dollars. Now the food is very good,... More

service isn't too good. food is OK but too expensive. It took our server 35 minutes to realize that he hadn't put in our order. it took another 25 minutes to get our food. It wasn't at all what we had ordered. And mine was burned. The OJ used to be fresh squeezed but they stopped doing that. The white... More

12 of us there for New year's eve. Good food, clean and fun. Waiter didn't miss a beat with all 12 orders and we asked for individual checks among each of the couples. He did well with that also. Would go back again for sure.

we had a table of 25! That should give you a clue this is a servers nightmare but our server was fabulous and very attentive. I had the lamb, over cooked but very flavorful, my husband had a large piece of beef it was great. Asparagus was perfect and we highly recommend the cobbler! Everyone was happy, the check was... We have returned to Bloomington after a year in Panama City Beach and are glad to be back home again in Indiana, but especially glad to be in Bloomington (the home the of Indiana Hoosiers) again. This is a great town with a special vibe and a world-class university that keeps it refreshed with coolness. Our favorite place is and... More
