Fabulous burger

Stopped here for lunch with our IUB student daughter. Service was very good. The food - we had burgers - were excellent! You could have them any way you wanted them - they are made from local beef and you can tell the difference. We stopped in later in the day to enjoy a local craft beer at... read more

Visited Nicks on a Friday Night with a party of 15 for a family get together. No reservation. We were told there was no tables available for that size party, but we could wait until enough people left to get our party seated. We waited approx. 1 hour to get seated, but they did get us at one table. The... More

No trip to Bloomington and IU would be complete without pizza and beer at Nick's This bar has a great college town atmosphere that attracts old and young alike! Nick's handmade pizza's are great and they are sure to have a beer special to help wash it down! My only regret is that it's a once a year trip for... More

A BTown classic. Great place to catch up with family and friends. Reasonably priced and good bar food. You go to Nick's because it's Nicks.

Cozy atmosphere, good food with IU history galore. Had lunch with the Director, Actor and Writer of WALTER, all IU Grads of the Drama School. The Director was my son, Brenden Patrick.

This was the first place we dined on our initial visit to Bloomington. This is a Bloomington tradition and a fun college place. The food is above average bar food and you just have to like it because it's Nicks.

After a Hoosiers basketball game, I took both a fan's advice and a friend's recommendation and made a stop here. Parking can be quite tricky (downtown Bloomington has metered parking on the majority of its streets; student-only and permit parking all around can further complicate matters). Once I found a spot I entered Nicks and was greeted warmly at the... More

I have been to Nick's many times. Sometimes for socializing with friends, sometimes for dinner, but always a good time. It has typical bar food. The atmosphere and history is the draw to this place. They do allow kids and have a children's menu. If you're going before a game, make sure you are there AT LEAST 2 hours before... More

Nick's is a popular college bar and a longstanding IU tradition. If you are bar-hopping in Bloomington you pretty much have to stop here. You can get cheap, crappy beer or try some of the more upscale brews. The food is typical bar food but the service is absolutely horrible.
