It was fun to play beer drinking games while watching basketball games and eating lunch. Plenty of tvs around. The burgers were good, not great.

Nick's English Hut was one of the first places in Bloomington to serve pizza, and their 'Za is still one of the best in town. But it's the dining experience itself that sets Nick's apart. A great selection of Brews and food is complimented by the unique collection of Memorabilia used to decorate the place. Many of the booths sport... More

Three of us had lunch at Nick's today and had a great meal served to us. Our server, Heather Abbosh, was very friendly and quite knownledgeable about the food items. The Caribbean shrimp soup appetizer was excellent and I recommend you try it if it is offered.

My wife and I were looking for a good meal and chose Nick's. Both our dinners arrived within a short time after ordering and were great. The staff were keeping themselves busy seeing to the needs of their customers. No standing around going on here. Definitely worth the stop.

Love everything here! I had the calzone which was delicious. I also love the ambiance for a college town. Our server was excellent. We have been here several times and have never been disappointed. Make sure to bring ID! It's a great place to watch a basketball or football game. In walking distance of shopping. Sink the biz y'all!

Ambiance and atmoshere is great! Service is outstanding and the food is fresh and prepared expertly! They have a full bar and an extensive range of beers! Well worth the visit for a fun time and good food and drinks!

Stopped in after an IU football game. We didn't have to wait too long, but once we got in it is not a relaxing meal. While the wait staff is very attentive, everything is rush, rush, rush. We ordered a pizza which I would recommend, "Nick's fries" while they have a reputation in Bloomington, to me, were just french fries,... More

That's about all I can say. Apart from the fact that $17 should stretch more to a burger and fries, and that $3 for a side, $6 for a half and $9 for a bucket of fries in the 'house seasoning' which I'm pretty sure is the same stuff they use at Boardwalk Fries (much better fries for money) and... I first visited as a student in the 1970s. Back then it was already an old standard among Bloomington traditions. Now it is an icon of mediocre fare. Yes, the original college bar environment brings back memories, but the food is immanently forgettable . . . or I should hope it is.

We've been coming to Nick's since the early 70's. On a recent return trip to Bloomington, we had to stop in again. The burgers were as good as they used to be. The pub atmosphere was great. Servers were friendly and attentive. Glad to see some things don't change!
