Something Different

My husband and I wanted to try something different for dinner. After asking around, we were pointed in Anatolia's direction. We're so glad we made the roughly three block walk from the town square to where the ethnic restaurants are located. It's like a little neighborhood of restaurant... read more

Our group had an enjoyable meal here. We tried several appetizers, which were all well received. Lamb can be difficult to cook right, and my kabob was tasty, well grilled and moist. My wife's stuffed cabbage was also worthwhile. None of our group of ten was unhappy with their entre. Unfortunately there were some management issues. At 6 pm on... More

We're so glad we made the roughly three block walk from the town square to where the ethnic restaurants are located. It's like a little neighborhood of restaurant choices--everything from Turkish to Greek to Korean is offered in cutely lit... More

When I found we were going to Anatolia for lunch, I looked at the reviews and they went back and forth (good to bad). We had nothing but good food and good attentive service. We ate their buffet which gave us a chance to sample a lot of items. It is a very great place for vegetarians but there was... More

This used to be one of our favorite restaurants, but no longer. The food was disappointing bordering on awful. There was no one in the kitchen -- they were microwaving food that had been prepared in advance. My kabab was tough and overcooked. My wife's vegetarian dish was flavorless and tasted like it had Kraft processed cheese and tomato sauce... More

Delicious food, friendly service, fair prices. I'd give it five stars except that on the Tuesday I ate there, several of the menu items were simply not available.

One of The Best places to eat in Bloomington. You should eat that delicious meat. They also serve us a soup that is very good.

I would have given this a 5 star except the last 2 times I ate there, things were not as good. One of the times, they completely forgot to make my meal and the waiter did not even notice that he hadn't served me until I pointed it out. I had to wait another 20 minutes for my food while... More

My boyfriend traveled to Turkey about a year ago and had great things to say about the food, so when my mom and I saw this restaurant we were intrigued and thought we would give it a try. We chose the white bean soup (because we had lentil soup at a restaurant down the road earlier that day). It was... More

While visiting in Bloomington I was invited to have dinner with two couples. They had both been to this restaurant before and were looking forward to going. So I was waiting for something special. Out of six main courses the meat was very over cooked in four, one was close to overcooked and one was normal. The soup was noting... More

I've been to Anatolia several times and it's always great. For appetizers, we tried the babaganush. Delicious! Ask for more bread if you have more than three people in your party. Always, always get the red lentil soup to prevent food envy! For dinner, I usually get the lamb kabob which never disappoints. I also really enjoy the salad that... More
