Our family loves this family owned Cafe. Although we can only make it every Sat. We could actually come everyday and try something different each time ,since the menu has sooo many incredible choices!! The cafe, food, and staff are all charming and make every visit worth our 30 min drive! The chocolate chip pancakes ,and banana bread French toast... More

It had been a couple of years since our last visit to Green Bay Cafe but we'll definitely not wait so long till our next trip. The GBC is a quaint little restaurant in Winnetka where the creative personality of the owner can be seen in both the menu and the decor. Sure you can get your standard breakfast fare... More

We've been going to the Green Bay Cafe for years, continually delighting in the delicious food and good service we'd always received there. Not only has my family liked going there, but we’d enjoyed taking friends there on occasion as well. But those days are now gone. After not having been there in several months, my daughter and I recently... More

Thought we would stop for lunch as we were passing through Winnetka to attend sporting event. Restaurant reviews looked good, so we stopped in. Smaller, quaint place with 10-12 tables. We arrived around 12:30p on Sat afternoon. There were 3 tables occupied, including 2 empty booths in front window; which we preferred to sit since it was a nice day.... More

Want pancakes, eggs and bacon, a tuna melt, turkey salad, a blt, chili, and a homemade cupcake for dessert? This is the place. Sitting in close proximity to your neighbors this small local gem offers good food at reasonable prices in a quaint downtown Wilmette location.

I've been doing breakfast here on and off for years. It's not particularly close to my house but if I'm anywhere near here, I'm stopping. Great breakfast food across the board in a pretty laid back environment. You can't beat it. Simple as that.

Year after year GBC continues to reign at the top spot for sumptuous breakfasts on the North Shore. Small and sometimes crowded, but never too noisy, the personalized wait service is prompt, efficient and filled with warm smiles. Although it leans to the pricey side for breakfast, you won't find the home cooked variety anywhere else. Every dish is piled... More

Quaint breakfast spot hidden away in Winnetka, despite being on busy Green Bay Rd. Easy to drive right by, so pay attentino. Seats maybe 25-30, so get there early. It's usually packed early on weekends. My personal favorite is the southwest omellete (not the actual name, look for the Mexican sounding one). Eggs Benedict also outstanding. Honey baked ham among... More
