Went here at the suggestion of our hotel. We were disappointed. The meat spring rolls had no flavour at all, so 8 of a dozen went to waste. My wife had pho bo which also lacked major flavour. Terrible compared to some of the pho we had in Hanoi and Da Nang. I had lemongrass chicken which was quite good... More

We ate here twice for dinner - we had ; Prawns in Honey with Ginger (twice) - very tasty - 65k, Chicken curry (large with lots of veg!) - very warming 55k, Chicken with onions/ginger 55k (flavourful), ALL dishes came with a small fried vegetable rice. Dessert - had banana pancake with chocolate - good size (45k). Green Saigon beers... More

Seemed highly rated on trip advisor so gave it a chance. Huge disappointment, menu needed pictures because an order of chicken wings was received with a plate with 1 giant chicken wing. The food and flavours were uninspired, simple in a bad way, and not authentic and I'm Vietnamese myself. Why did people talk this place up for?

Roadside location with consequent noise levels and not much to compensate to bring up the ambience. Nothing wrong with the menu or the prices, but nothing really stood out. Reasonably priced and OK service.

We ate at Lap Thao three times in 8 days as we really liked the family, the welcoming family and reasonable prices. The food wasn't the best we'd had in Vietnam and some dishes were better than others, the Ban Xeo was not so good compared to others we'd eaten but the spring and fresh rolls were great and the... We visited Lap Thao for lunch after reading good reviews on trip advisor. The food was good and well priced. For 280k dong we got five spice pork, five spice squid, noodles with beef, chicken spring rolls and 2 tiger long necks (more than enough food for 2 people). The five spice pork was so tasty, I would definitely recommend... More

My boyfriend and I ate dinner here on our recent trip to mui ne. Portion sizes were massive and the five spice squid was delicious and fresh. Staff were friendly and food was excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend!

Dissapointing food, dissapointing service = dissapointed customer... We were lokking forward to a nice vietnameese dinner experience, but no.. The food was uninspired, didn't taste much, the springrolls was a disaster... Drinks ok, and the complementary banana fritters was a pluss!

The correct address is 239 Nguyen Dinh Chieu. We stumbled on it after many failed attempts of trying to find it. The food is clean, good and cheap. I don't know why so many people eat at the bo ke street vendors. It's not clean and expensive.
