We only went here because of the ratings... We should have known to keep walking when your on the beach and the seafood on display is frozen...so we walk in and skipped the seafood and ordered a noodle dish ...that was full of water and it very tasty and the vinegar salad and fresh rolls... We did not finish the... More

We stumbled across this place by accident after feeling rather frustrated that most restaurants in Mui Ne are rather pricey. This food isn't incredible but it really is very nice - and fresh. I had a pho noodle soup with a salad, and husband had a grilled seafood platter with garlic noodles. We were on a budget and our food... More

Stayed in Mui Ne for 6 nights and ate here twice, the food was great. Not amazing, but definitely the best we found in Mui Ne. Had a vege tofu stir-fry first time, the best meal I had eaten in Nam since I got here over 2 weeks ago, so tasty and fresh. Second time I tried the BBQ, tuna... More

Despite the good reviews on TA I didn't like this restaurant. Maybe I was just hot & bothered but the staff were grumpy, the food tasted weird, in fact my mum couldn't eat her beef BBQ skewers and questioned if it was even beef. Yes it's cheap & there were lots of people there that looked like they were enjoying... More

My family ate here 2 nights ago. We ordered a lotus/seafood salad which was nice but the seafood spring rolls were appalling. The mixed bbq seafood plate was a mixed bag. The whole prawns were good and the squid & vegetable skewers were tender but the scallops were drowning in a garlic butter type sauce which totally overwhelmed them, and... More

Restaurant options in Mui Ne are quite sad. As other reviewers note, you're best option at Hoang Vu is the barbecue. I believe they coat the barbecue in a peanut sauce. Their fruit juices are also good and priced reasonably. My partner had a tuna steak, which was pan fried; however, it was a bit dry.

there are two restaurants named hoang vu one next to the other so it is important to go to the right one,it is easy to notice that the better one is more populated with dinners. the food is excellent and the prices are reasonable

We got thai chicken curry which was very bland and didn't taste like Thai at all! I wouldn't go back, there are so many other restaurants in Mui Ne to choose from

Can't believe some of the reviews on here about the food at this restaurant. We were completely disappointed. Take for example the chicken curry, it was more like a tin of Campbell's condensed cream soup. The BBQ prawns were not fresh and overcooked. They were also not skewered lengthways like the rest of Vietnam, making shelling more difficult to peel.... More

Must rate as one of the best in Mui Ne - freshly cooked on the spot and very good at an exceptionally fair price (2 mains, 2 beers, a coke a coffee & a tea for US$10). Give this place a try, it's well worth a visit.
