Had dinner there last night... food was great as usual and Debbie, our server more that went out of her way to make sure that we had good dining esperience! I have been there many times, don't miss out on the garlick roll, I love the Swordfish steak and even though this is the best fish place all over, the... More

Went with a large party this past Saturday, all meals were excellent from Sushi, Grouper, Shrimp to Stone Craps. A very busy restaurant, reservations recommended especially for large parties. My first visit but others had been their many times over the years. We had an excellent server very attentive without being intrusive, garlic rolls were wonderful. Noisy though given the... More

Always a great meal. Not cheap. Not an impressive wine selection or romantic atmosphere but Garlic rolls not to be missed and best fish choices anywhere

I had been to Bob Chinn's years ago and remembered it fondly. This experience was no so wonderful! The restaurant is huge and loud with multiple lines to stand in to get seated. The crab leg entree we ordered was $70 - the crab we received was lukewarm and bland. We also ordered scallops which I would also characterize as... More

I haven't been in Chicago for 14 years, and as soon as I landed I went there for dinner. The best Alaska king crab I had in my life.

This large (seats 700), bustling seafood restaurant features a variety of fish and crabs. I had King Fingers which were excellent. Those are the walking legs of King Crab and I find them more flavorful that the big claws. My wife had Ex-Crab-Aganza which is a plate of chef selected crabs and shrimp. Some of the items were better than... More

Chinn's flies in a number of fish each day so you're assured of really fresh fish. Grouper, mahi mahi, halibut (in season), etc. are usually on the menu and just arrived. They feature one fish, as a six-way fish, but most are perfectly chargrilled. King Crab legs are great and sometimes they are actually live or very fresh (unfrozen)! Steaks... More

I love Their crab legs. They are huge and melt in your mouth. We have also gotten steak every time but I think we will pass next time cause every time we get steak they never cook it enough. Not sure if cooks need more training but every time steak is not done enough for medium. Other then that Mai... More

My wife and I had dinner at Bob Chinn's this weekend. We've been searching for a source for decent grouper in the midwest. Most we've found taste rancid or freezer-burned. Chinn's is absolutely the freshest, best tasting around. We've had grouper in restaurants along the gulf and atlantic seaboard that "claim" right from the boats - Chinn beats them hands... More

I have been going to Chins for years. The food quality has gone down and the prices are rapidly increasing.
