Post WWII family owned Hot Dog restaurant

Great history, couple of locations. Milk shakes are a must! Mainly hot dogs, I recommend Chicago-style. It's a hot dog with mustard, relish, onions, a pickle and 2 hot peppers. Comes with the best French fries! It comes in a box. A long time tradition. Tear the sides down and it's easier to get at... read more

Had a meal at their Milwaukee and Devon location, much better Hot dog came out with fries on top making the bun soggy, and ruined the meal. For the price I was disappointed, give me Wolfys anytime, what a shame they spent a fortune on this buildout

Always freshly prepared burgers and dogs. French fries cooked perfectly. Tried the super veggies....had the fried mushrooms and broccoli variety...cooked also perfectly. Chocolate shake so thick you need to use a spoon. I'm getting hungry all over again. Always good service, too!

Took the kids there a few times because of the drive in feature. Have also beaten inside. Did not enjoy the hot dogs at all. I love Chicago style hot dogs, these just don't make the cut

This is the second Superdawg location...the first is still on Milwaukee Avenue in Chicago. Nice place, hot food and ample parking and seating. Superdawg is famous for their hotdog in a box which also has the fries and peppers (if requested). They still have carhops. You pull up in your car to one of the menu displayed booths, select your... A classic and well known hot dog place with excellent dogs and the fries are good too. Great ambiance and nostalgic look and feel to the place. Excellent service and very attentive staff. Chicago Style hot dogs but they also serve burgers and other selections. Worth the trip and the walk down memory lane. Eat in or have the car... More

This place looks really cool when it's lit up at night, so I had to try it. The first few times it was OK. The thing I ordered most of the time was their fried veggies, especially the zucchini. But the last couple of times it made me sick. The food is always too greasy, but whatever went wrong twice... More

Superdawg was offering a free meal to veterans today, Veterans Day, so we went for lunch. Super busy. A lot of hungry vets out there! My husband loved his vanilla malt. Everything was delicious, as always. Men at the next table talking about the founder who passed away, Maurie. But Flaurie still keeps her hand in. A must visit when... More

Over priced, mediocre fast food. There is a certain sense of nostalgia with the drive-up service, along with the history of the restaurant(s) but in the end, six bucks for a hotdog and fries is more than I want to pay.

The service was good and the atmosphere was very retro - took me back to a god place. Hot dog and frys were better than average but from my point of view too expensive for what you get.
