Have never eaten in the restaurant but have gotten take out many times. Food is absolutely delicious! Pad See Eew is awesome and so is Pad Thai. Almost everything we have tried has been wonderful. Prices are not bad and easy to get in and out for pick up. Highly recommend!

Small Thai restaurant with great tasting food and huge portions. All fresh ingredients made in open kitchen. Limited tables less than 10. But usually don't have to wait long. Every dish I get always tasty. Their hot is really hot.

I want great food when I go out to a restaurant and Mai Thai Cafe in Wheaton was great! Past reviews said the place was small and it looked that way when we walked up to it, but there were more tables in there than I expected. Prompt service and the surprise of a lunch deal until 2:30 pm that... More

Sadly, "Pop" passed away recently, but "Mom" and daughter have picked up the slack and the both the food and service remain excellent! Very few tables and it can get busy, but it's worth the wait. Limited menu but excellent food and attentive service. VERY reasonable prices and timely take out response time. No liquor available and I don't know... More

If you are looking for casual, quick, and somewhat exotic, this is perhaps the very best restaurant in Wheaton and the surrounding area. The food is just fantastic. Vegetables are very fresh and firm, the meat is tender and well-cooked, the rice is aromatic and sweet. My fiancée and I have very different tastes in food, but we both love... More

The green chicken curry is excellent. Served piping hot, full of flavor with fresh veggies. I ordered the mild and it had a good spicy kick. Generous portions. Carry out is fast.

Ate here with a group of ten. Service was excellent and food phenomenal. You can get it as spicy or as mild as you like. Not fancy. Be sure to call ahead if you have a big group.

This is my favorite place to eat in Wheaton. The food is great, the portions are good and the price is not as high as the other Thai places around. Only thing to remember is to make sure to know the spiciness is more intense than sometimes is usual.

I've visited Mai Thai more times than I can count throughout the time I lived in Wheaton. The food was always delicious, the service excellent, and the portions just right. It's a small family owned restaurant with a few tables and take out available. You definitely don't go there for the decor (it is a very small and basic dining... More

This is a really small place. So the atmosphere is not much. However, the curries are authentically hot. And the service has been warm and attentive. I haven't liked everything (not a fan of how they prepare eggplant) but it's worth returning to for other dishes. Massaman and Penang curry are very good.
