A wonderful little gem in downtown Wheaton just 2 blocks from the Metra. Serving delicious, homemade dishes using preservative free ingredients and hormone/anti-biotic free beef, pork, bison, chicken and eggs. Fresh fish featured weekly, live music every Monday night, a great wine list and quaint sidewalk dining with alcohol service. We buy from businesses within our community, or from small businesses who are an integral part of their communities and try to have a positive impact on their environment. Opened in 2007, this husband & wife owned restaurant was nominated for Restaurant of the Year in 2010. You will be impressed with the ambiance of the small dining room, the personal, attentive service by the wait staff and the delicious menu options.

Healthy and Tasty in a low-key elegant atmosphere

Food: My mom and I went for lunch. They have a menu with a section for lunch, a section for dinner, and a section which they serve at both meals. We ordered the quiche and the salmon salad. My salmon salad was an upscale coleslaw-type salad with perfectly cooked salmon. Delish! My mom's veggie... read more

Been there a few time, never disappointed. Have sat outside and at the bar area. Both are nice. Friendly staff, the food was excellent. Haven't been disappointed. Nice wines also. Enjoy.

Great place to stop for a "lighter" meal. Good salads, pizzas and a nice wine list. they also serve sandwiches and full dinners. Menu, while not extensive, does offer a wide variety of choices. Service is prompt and friendly. Outside and inside tables are available. Atmosphere is casual and romantic.

I love their mushroom Brie soup! It needs a little more Brie but it's still really good. I also love their polenta of the day. A little over priced for what you get but so good.

I went there three times over one weekend because it was near a college where I was attending a meeting. After a magnificent dinner with one friend the first evening, I went back later with another friend for wine and hors d'oeuvres. Both those were so good that I went back with two friends the next evening. The second dinner... More

Can eat inside or out, intimate tables inside. Focus on locally grown produce. Great bruschetta and stuffed dates. For a wine bistro, the wine list is too limited

Or as my girlfriend says. GET THE CHOCOLATE CAKE!! I had the beet quinoa burger. They were very understanding of my dietary needs. She had the grouper wrap. Both very very good. The regulars next to us were very friendly. Going back today for chocolate cake

One of our favorite spots. Jorge makes the best cappuccino in the area. We had the pork with sweet potato and a pizza. Both were perfect. The place is busy so make reservations on a weekend.

Had lunch at the Cellar Bistro today, a Saturday, with a party of 8. Street parking was readily available and I believe a free parking lot/garage is around the block. I ordered the Bistro Burgers while another ordered the salad topped with Salmon, and we shared. I ordered the burgers MR with white cheddar cheese, they arrived well but still... More

Birthdays are great! Had an opportunity to try yet another "eclectic" restaurant in downtown Wheaton. Took my daughter out for her birthday lunch and enjoyed a delicious meal of Penne Pasta w/Prawns for me and soup and pulled pork sandwiches for her. Both were excellent and brought to the table timely and hot! Restaurant is located in downtown Wheaton among... More
