Description: A wonderful little gem in downtown Wheaton just 2 blocks from the Metra...
A wonderful little gem in downtown Wheaton just 2 blocks from the Metra. Serving delicious, homemade dishes using preservative free ingredients and hormone/anti-biotic free beef, pork, bison, chicken and eggs. Fresh fish featured weekly, live music every Monday night, a great wine list and quaint sidewalk dining with alcohol service. We buy from businesses within our community, or from small businesses who are an integral part of their communities and try to have a positive impact on their environment. Opened in 2007, this husband & wife owned restaurant was nominated for Restaurant of the Year in 2010. You will be impressed with the ambiance of the small dining room, the personal, attentive service by the wait staff and the delicious menu options.

One of our favorite spots. Jorge makes the best cappuccino in the area. We had the pork with sweet potato and a pizza. Both were perfect. The place is busy so make reservations on a weekend.

Had lunch at the Cellar Bistro today, a Saturday, with a party of 8. Street parking was readily available and I believe a free parking lot/garage is around the block. I ordered the Bistro Burgers while another ordered the salad topped with Salmon, and we shared. I ordered the burgers MR with white cheddar cheese, they arrived well but still... More

Birthdays are great! Had an opportunity to try yet another "eclectic" restaurant in downtown Wheaton. Took my daughter out for her birthday lunch and enjoyed a delicious meal of Penne Pasta w/Prawns for me and soup and pulled pork sandwiches for her. Both were excellent and brought to the table timely and hot! Restaurant is located in downtown Wheaton among... More

If you are in or near Wheaton at lunchtime, do not pass up this cute bistro. Everything on the menu was appealing, my husband and I were both very pleased. I ordered the portabella mushroom and served with grilled asparagus and potatoes, my husband a B.L.T that was very tasty. P.s. I loved the window treatment, very chic.

I have been there several times at both lunch and dinner. Everything I have ordered has been delicious. Servers have been very attentive. We especially like that it is quiet, and it is possible to have conversation, a rarity these days!

Very pretty small restaurant. Good food, but physically the restaurant is cold in temperature. We have eaten there a couple of times, and found the service to be inconsistent. Not bad, just not great.

Great food and nicely presented. Probably the best restaurant in Wheaton! I have been here several times and the food is consistently high quality and always quickly brought from the kitchen by courteous and reliable wait staff. The restaurant is in downtown Wheaton and parking along streets or in parking garage closeby is always available. They have signature soups which... More

I have been to the Cellar Bistro several times. The food has been good, although the most recent visit, I ordered the salmon and it was as dry as newspaper. When the server asked how it was, since I left most of it on the plate, she said she was "sorry to hear that". Okay, one demerit on customer service.... More

This restaurant has a very quaint corner location that could be a neighborhood gym. Just a few into the tables in a very cool setting that could be a fabulous finds! The menu is short but sweet. The biggest problem for me was that the wine list is fairly primitive and not interested whatsoever, but expensive. Most glass prices exceed... More
