Transit: The downtown Wheaton Metra Station is 2 blocks west of The Cellar Bistro.
Description: A wonderful little gem in downtown Wheaton just 2 blocks from the Metra. Serving delicious, homemade dishes using preservative free ingredients and hormone/anti-biotic free beef, pork, bison, chicken and eggs. Fresh fish featured weekly, live music every Monday night, a great wine list and quaint sidewalk dining with alcohol service. We buy from businesses within our community, or from small businesses who are an integral part of their communities and try to have a positive impact on their environment. Opened in 2007, this husband & wife owned restaurant was nominated for Restaurant of the Year in 2010. You will be impressed with the ambiance of the small dining room, the personal, attentive service by the wait staff and the delicious menu options.

I have been to the Cellar Bistro several times. The food has been good, although the most recent visit, I ordered the salmon and it was as dry as newspaper. When the server asked how it was, since I left most of it on the plate, she said she was "sorry to hear that". Okay, one demerit on customer service.... More

This restaurant has a very quaint corner location that could be a neighborhood gym. Just a few into the tables in a very cool setting that could be a fabulous finds! The menu is short but sweet. The biggest problem for me was that the wine list is fairly primitive and not interested whatsoever, but expensive. Most glass prices exceed... More

Absolutely our favorite restaurant anywhere. The food is outstanding. The specials are special. The staff go out of there way to accommodate you. The owners have made a point to create a special place with outstanding food and a welcome environment. Thank you.

Went for lunch during the, started off as the first group there, then the restaurant started to fill. Lots of gluten free options. Plates were priced slightly high but they were very good and service was excellent.

We visited one rainy Sunday for brunch (11am - 3pm) and had the entire place to ourselves, which was perfect. The restaurant prides itself on using quality and local produce, some of which is organic. The lemon ricotta pancakes and the crab cakes were stand-out for us. Prices are pretty reasonable too. Highly recommended.

I frequently dine at Cellar Bistro. The food is fabulous. The indoor area has a nice ambiance. I prefer to sit outside on nice days even though you are right in the heart of people walking by your table bc seating is basically right on the side walk. Many people have mentioned the slow service, however there are a lot... More

Wheaton has several good restaurants, and my husband and I rate this as one of the best. I have had quiche here a couple of times ....absolutely great, and I am very fussy about quiche. My husband has had the pulled pork sandwich which he thought was excellent. We came here once for dinner, but settled on the appetizers as... More

A group of 5 girlfriends and I recently had lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. Despite being practically empty, everything seemed to take forever! We had to ask to put our order in, ask multiple times for refills on water, and she brought our checks before asking about dessert (which several in our group had planned to order). We also... More

Because Yelp won't let you vote zero stars. Our group of 7 arrived at 11:30 AM for Sunday Brunch and were seated immediately, because there was only one other table occupied. We ordered our drinks and they came out quickly, except the server failed to open the bottle of wine. We let that go and ordered starters and appetizers quickly... More
