A fantastic atmosphere… warm and inviting… great wait staff and cooks. A terrific place to have a quiet evening alone with someone special or a small gathering of friends. The meat selection was terrific and if you want… you can even cook your meat selection yourself on a tremendous grill in the restaurant or the cooks will also do it... More

Menu was somewhat limited. Food was average. We had the walleye and chicken sandwich - both just average.

We stopped at Skoog's on our last trip to Utica. LOVED it! Yes, it IS a bar, there is no getting around that! But it is more like a small town diner that has bar too. We felt totally comfortable taking our 5 year old in and there were plenty of others with children in there too! Food was AWESOME!!... More

Well this was our second night at Grizzly Jacks and we ventured into town to Skoog's Pub and the service, atmosphere and food were wonderful. The price was certainly reasonable. Would recommend this pub!

We stopped by Skoog's for a bite to eat after hiking at nearby Starved Rock State Park. My husband ordered a chicken sandwich, I got the 3/4 lb burger, and our son got the grilled cheese kid's meal. Everything was good! The servers were all friendly and it looked like everyone was enjoying themselves. We love to stop by local... More

We went here today to check out the food before we head out of Utica. Based on some of the other reviews we tried chicken wings, which were pretty awesome. They are huge, come in different flavors, and have a lot of meat on them. We got the kamakazi flavored, which is a mixture of bbq/garlic/hot. Besides the wings, my... More

My husband and I had lunch here while we stayed a few nights in Utica. It's a cute and clean little pub! Service was friendly and there seemed to be a lot of locals & regulars because the staff called quite a few people by their first names and had conversations where you could tell they knew each other. My... More

If in the area you must try their wings! Big, meaty, juicy, fresh, and loaded with seasoning! The husband and I immediately started staking our claims to our portion so the other didn't eat them all... Lol. We had the garlic parm and the kamikaze with the latter being our favorite with the perfect blend of spice and heat. The... More
