We went to Hamada last night for my son's 20th birthday. I was a little hesitant after reading some of the bad reviews about the customer service. When we arrived, the parking lot was full and the place was crowded however, we had a reservation, and only had about a five minute wait. We were seated at a table with... More

Good place to celebrate a special event like a birthday or graduation. Be sure to make reservations as it is usually very crowded. Also bring a healthy appetite as the servings are huge.

This place is so good with great entertainment. It's perfect for a family outing. The cook is usually very amusing and personable. The food is fulfilling and tasty. We go at least once every 3 months. The best Japanese food in town.

Hair was literally fried into the egg of my fried rice. The only compensation the manager offered was more fried rice or noodles. She refused to take anything off the bill and lacked empathy for hair in their food. I normally like the food but I hate the way I was treated.

Hamada is nothing special. The food was very similar to any other Hibachi style restaurant. The killer was the price. Compared to other Hibachi restaurants in the area, Hamada was by far the most expensive. Would I go there again? No. I could get the same meal at a better price elsewhere.

I was just at Hamada for some sushi. I went a few weeks ago with a friend and enjoyed the grill. However this visit I was a bit disturbed as I was looking over the sushi menu and looked up to watch the sushi chef working on an order. He had a bloody spot on the top of his hand... More
