BIG Portions

Three generations of our family enjoyed brunch at Annie's. The service was warm and friendly. The kids enjoyed "Mickey Mouse" pancakes...a huge Mickey-shaped concoction covered with (perhaps too much) whipped cream. Other members of our group had a summer salad featuring either tuna or chicken... read more

This could've been a great breakfast, except...................... I ordered my hash brown potatoes well done. They were not right and the waitress took them back. So far, so good. 5 minutes. 10 minutes. 15 minutes later.....still no hash browns. Other aspects might have been wonderful, but unfortunately now whenever I think about Annie's, I only remember waiting...and waiting.... for the... More

Looking for a place to have breakfast that was close to Saint Francis Hospital and the highway when we came across this wonderful place. The service was great & it seems like the staff knows the regulars that come. Our breakfast & coffee was really good with generous portions. I had a chance to see what some other customers had... Whenever my family eats here we are never disappointed. I usually go for the skirt steak and eggs. Skirt steak is always juicy and flavorful and they cook the eggs exactly as you want them to. No complaints and everything tastes great.

I eat at Annie's regularly and generally get an egg-white omelet, but my family members eat a wide variety of fare and rarely are we less than thrilled. The food is freshly prepared, the service is excellent and the people are always friendly. It's so great to have a neighborhood place that makes you feel special. When we eat elsewhere... More

This used to be one of my favorite places to go for breakfast, but my last few experiences have changed my mind. The service wasn't quite up to standards - sitting at the table for quite a while before anyone came to take our drink order. The drinks came and then we waited again to be able to place our... Stopped here for lunch today. My wife had pancakes and eggs and said they were quite good. I went for the Split-pea soup and salad. Both surprised me as to how good they were. The split pea had no meat in it (which was what I wanted) and was thick, tasty and hot. The salad was a good size with... More

This is a classic breakfast restaurant, and the food was excellent. It features some excellent and unusual entrees, although you can get the usual breakfast foods as well. The service was excellent.

Great breakfast value but make sure you go hungry. We finished nothing. The stuffed French toast is AWSOME but a little too sweet for me.

This is one of our favorite restaurants for breakfast. Everything is so so good. I go as a family, with friends. It is a great hidden gem in Skokie! Staff is awesome, especially owner Archie!
