Been a favorite of mine for years

To say the food here is fantastic is truly an understatement; it is ABSOLUTELY PHENOMINAL!! The staff here is top notch, the food is brought to your table piping hot, and will be enough, most of the time at least, to fill you for a good period of time. Word of caution: Sunday mornings if you... read more

We ate breakfast at Annie's Pancake House in Mid June during a 2 week stay in Skokie/Chicago as part of an Idf disabled veterans delegation. We were a party of about 20 people. Breakfast was great. Service and atmosphere were good too. I had my "usual" restaurant breakfast - 3 'sunny side up' eggs, double portion bacon and white toast,... More

Had a wonderful inpromptu breakfast with my mom this morning. We were close to Annie's so we decided to give it a try after reading reviews. I had the Denver omelette with bacon instead of ham. It was perfect...I'm not kidding. Perfect ratio, fresh ingredients and not stingy on the bacon. Hash browns ordered and delivered crispy. Opted for pancakes... More

Tasty , fresh, inexpensive place. Very friendly staff. I like there omelets, pancakes, crepes. Anything you might like for breakfast or lunch will be available. Very inexpensive on top of everything.

This could've been a great breakfast, except...................... I ordered my hash brown potatoes well done. They were not right and the waitress took them back. So far, so good. 5 minutes. 10 minutes. 15 minutes later.....still no hash browns. Other aspects might have been wonderful, but unfortunately now whenever I think about Annie's, I only remember waiting...and waiting.... for the... More

Three generations of our family enjoyed brunch at Annie's. The service was warm and friendly. The kids enjoyed "Mickey Mouse" pancakes...a huge Mickey-shaped concoction covered with (perhaps too much) whipped cream. Other members of our group had a summer salad featuring either tuna or chicken salad and a variety of fresh melons. The tuna had a bit of a mayonnaise... More

Looking for a place to have breakfast that was close to Saint Francis Hospital and the highway when we came across this wonderful place. The service was great & it seems like the staff knows the regulars that come. Our breakfast & coffee was really good with generous portions. I had a chance to see what some other customers had... Whenever my family eats here we are never disappointed. I usually go for the skirt steak and eggs. Skirt steak is always juicy and flavorful and they cook the eggs exactly as you want them to. No complaints and everything tastes great.

I eat at Annie's regularly and generally get an egg-white omelet, but my family members eat a wide variety of fare and rarely are we less than thrilled. The food is freshly prepared, the service is excellent and the people are always friendly. It's so great to have a neighborhood place that makes you feel special. When we eat elsewhere... More

This used to be one of my favorite places to go for breakfast, but my last few experiences have changed my mind. The service wasn't quite up to standards - sitting at the table for quite a while before anyone came to take our drink order. The drinks came and then we waited again to be able to place our...
