EJ's is as good as they get and I've been to every great steak joint in the country! As a 30 year G&G regular I get my fix here and it's every bit as good. The steaks and chops are simply perfect, especially the lamb. The on -the-bone pounded veal Parmesan is one of the best items in the menu.... More

It is pricey but the portions are huge! I split my whitefish. No extra charge for sharing and they have both of us s salad. Food was delicious! Definitely would go again and recommend.

Ate here with some locals. The food was very pricey in my mind ($46 for a simple steak) but the steaks were large. I had the NY Strip and it was a bit too much grizzle for my preference. Friends had the filet and even the "petite" filet was very large. I should have gotten the regular filet since I... More

The place was nearly empty except for the bar. The service was sloppy and inattentive - not what you'd expect with $40 entrees. The shrimp dejonghe was very good. The t-bone was not. I asked for pink and was told to order medium. It came really red. Sent it back and it was the same. Asked for the manager, he... More

We love East and go very often. Johnnie our waiter is a long time staple. The other waiters Frankie and Alex are also very good. Shrimp cocktail and Dover Sole are just perfect. The happening bar scene and lively conversation are always exciting.

From the minute I went in I couldn't wait to leave. They must be doing something right since it's crowded with people who are obvious regulars. Big bar crowd. The energy here was not for me. Hectic, loud, dark room with loud talkers and lots of air kissing Dress code for men is apparently the Miami Beach or post golf... More

A solid Italian chop-house in the Chicago suburb of Skokie serving steaks, chops, fish and other Italian specialties is a supper-club atmosphere. For appetizers we enjoyed baked clams, fried calamari and sausage and peppers. My skirt-steak was delicious and huge, served with garlic mashed potatoes and grilled veggies. My wife enjoyed her lamb chops, but thought they were a bit... More

We have been coming here for years for special celebrations and also for New Year's Eve. This year it was snowy, and I think that caused people to linger, as it took 45 minutes for them to seat us for our reservation. Once seated, service was also VERY slow; therefore, the moral to this story, probably don't come here again... More

Always good steak house - great lamb chops and chicken vesuvio. Cottage fries are the best. Friendly service
