3 of dined at EJ's on a Thursday night in November. First, when we made the reservation they said we had to take the 6:45 slot and that was all they had. When we arrived it was about 20% occupied and was about 30% occupied when we left at 9. The ribeye special was around $50 alacarte. Another friend ordered... More

Service was outstanding. Menu large enough satisfy all tastes. Portions are extremely large so bring a big appetite or plan on sharing.

We dined here with some friends and we will definitely be going back. A little pricey but totally worth it! The service was terrific and the food was prepared and cooked to perfection. You are best to go here when you hungry because the portions are huge! There is something on the menu for everyone. Unlike most higher end restaurants,... More

The a restaurant is as good as any of the downtown Chicago well-known steakhouses. I went by it for years without knowing what was there! Very nondescript exterior and warm interior! An known jewel in Skokie and the North Shore!

Went for a rehearsal wedding dinner. The service was fantastic--expedited and extremely efficient. Steak , Shrimp , Chicken were the choices at our table--cookied perfectly and delicious. If in the area this is the place to go.

E.J.'s seems like a place that would have been there since the 1950's, but I understand it was founded in the 90's. The other patrons were more dressed up than I am used to seeing in my MD-DC home. Excellent food. Not cheap, but most portions are big enough to share even if you are not a light eater. It... More

The owner is a part of Gene & Georgetti Steak House family in Chicago. The place is to go for steaks and prime rib. The steaks are LARGE portions, top quality and perfectly prepared, served with so so salad, good dressings and good unlimited potatoes. The steaks prices are on the higher side. Between the last and this review the establishment... More

Met my brother-in-law and his wife at EJs in Skokie for dinner last Saturday night. My wife and I are just visiting the Chicago area and this restaurant was recommended by a local resident. The restaurant itself is pretty classy and upscale which is very evident upon entry. Virtually all of the waiters were very polite Mexican gentlemen with heavy... More
