It simply comes down to the fact that right now B&B is just a plain restaurant -- with the subtle near Chicago Greek touch to the menu (think Omega, Buffalo, and the old Skokie Club). So you can't go for the breakfast (ordinary coffee, dry omelettes, etc.), the lunch is OK (the hamburgers are good but come on, find anything... more

The service was excellent and it always is, whenever I eat there. It's one of the few places left with good-family service. The portions are very large and the food is always delicious!! I recommend it to everyone; it's worth the drive if you're out of the area. more

I stopped in for a late afternoon lunch/early dinner (about 4:00 on a Friday) on my way home. I wasn’t seated for more than one minute when the waitress asked me if I was ready to order (I wasn't). She returned about 30 seconds later and wanted to know what I wanted...I ordered the Pastrami sandwich and a Diet Coke... more
