More of this for Skokie please!!!

Memorable is food and atmosphere here. Specially in summer in the charming back terrace. Really a jewel among Skokie's restaurants. Memorable is food and atmosphere here. Specially in summer in the charming back terrace. Really a jewel among Skokie's restaurants. I wish we would see a corridor of restaurants like this here with elegant, innovative cultural flavor. Ethnic and classy. And at ressonante and manageable distance from Chicago, Evanstone and Highland Park. Why not??? Congratulations to Libertad who has achieved... More

Serving smaller Tapas sized plates of delicious unique Latin American cuisine. I've eaten there several times and have never been disappointed by the food. Now I'll admit I'm a cheap diner and Libertad is not cheap, but I'm also about value and in this sense I think Libertad delivers. I'm too cheap to eat here as often as I'd like,... More

This was our fourth time and it did not disappoint! Really ni e sophisticated but not pretentious food. Delicious modern combinations and definitely South American. Try the poblano and the asado. The prawns were huge ! We're going back soon!

Liberated may be described as providing Latin fusion cuisine. The menu is on one page and the care taken to prepare each dish is obvious. When we arrived, the lighting was dim and the menu was hard to read for all of us. In time, most of us acclimated to the lighting and were finally able to read the menu... More

We ordered a few different items to share. All of the items were tasty. It was very loud so hard to carry on a conversation. It is very small inside, so everyone was very close together.

The only downside on this great neighborhood restaurant is the size (tiny even with the outside back part). The dishes are very creative Latin cuisine which blends typical dishes in a new creative way! Do not think this is your typical Mexican restaurant in any way shape or form. The wine list is a little small and I wish they... More

No one will ever believe this but I swear on my life it's true. I arrived at the restaurant at 6:15 on Saturday night. We did not have reservations. The "host" said she couldn't take us until 9:00 pm. I asked if she could take my number if a cancellation or no show would open a table; she did. I... More

Good food, very nice staff, but way way too noisy. Eat outside if you can. The menu was refreshingly brief and included vegetarian dishes, all very well prepared.

I was surprised to learn that this restaurant became pretty much full at 7 PM on one Thursday. I was glad that I came early. I noticed that the age of customers spanned quite widely (young couples to grandparents). My wait staff was named Lizzette - one of the most attentive and professional worker I have ever been served by.... More

This restaurant looked to be very interesting from the reviews and we went on a nice Friday for lunch, hoping to sit on the patio that is talked about. The place was closed and we were there between 12:00 and 12:30 p.m. Considering that it supposedly is open on Fridays from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., you may want to... More
