Have tried this place- and uneven would be a very good description. Service can be pretty bad- busy place, but inattentive. Food is ok, nothing special. Wish I could give a better review.

On our way out of Schaumburg we stopped at Big Bowl for lunch. We had a cup of pho for an appetizer. It was so delicious. We had two Thai dishes that were fabulous. It is a great change of pace. The service is excellent too.

We had a business lunch there, it was fine for that. Everyone seemed to like their food, I had the shrimp pad thai and it wasn't my favorite, but the calamari and potstickers were very good.

I probably eat at Big Bowl once a month. They have a good variety of Asian food on the menu and my kids enjoy it as well. The calamari, thai peanut noodles and egg rolls are great appetizers. The Shrimp Pad Thai is one of my favorites dishes. The Bangkok Shrimp and Scallops is also recommended

Big Bowl is pretty predictable. Good quality Chinese and Thai food with slightly higher prices than they should probably have. Portion sizes are huge (except on their potsticker and dumpling appetizers), service is good (they comped us two free desserts when our order took to long to come out of the kitchen) and I like anywhere that accepts reservations and... I ate at Big Bowl twice this week. Once with a large group from work and then tonight with my wife. The food and service on both nights were great. Dinner at Big Bowl is always a treat. I wish there was one near us in NH.

It had been a while since I was to this restaurant and I'm so glad I returned. There are lots of choices that are made to order, or you can make your own and they cook it for you. I had the Mongolian beef with brown rice and it was delicious. Portions are good size. Pork Potstickers were our appetizer... More

Great food and atmosphere! Love the concept of choosing your own veggies and giving your bowl of veggies to the chef to cook up for you. You could literally eat here numerous times each week and have a different "healthy" dish every time. There are also traditional menu items to order, if you choose. Must visit this place!!!
