We were looking for something after attending a show at the Schaumburg Convention Center. Eating while watching the private planes take off and land sounded fun. We were there on a Sunday afternoon, but not much was moving on the runway unfortunately, probably just too cold! The food here was reasonably priced and plentiful, just average in quality. Been here a few times for dinner with my wife. The place is great with lots of stuff from the world of aviation for decor. Our favorite is the Lobster nachos. Delicious. I would recommend Pilot Pete's to my friends.

We come here about 2x a month with kids and the food is always very good and reasonably priced. Only once, about 2 years ago, I had a complaint but that got resolved quickly. I woudl recomend this restaurant to others. If you like shrim... try the Coconut shrimp dinner or appetizer.. the dinner is just 3 more shrimp (if... More

A unique place to dine while watching planes from the Schaumburg municipal airport. This restaurant is lively and upbeat. The menu has something for everyone. The portions are large as our server said they love to be generous. Friday night fish fry is very popular with fried cod. They do not take reservations so be prepared to wait sometimes. We... More

Use girls went on a wednesday evening after work. The specialty drinks list was plentiful. I got the 'smooth landing" and it was delicious. The pot roast with mashed potatoes was good as was the BBQ pork sandwich. Will return

I bought a deal on Groupon to check this place out for the first time. My toddler loved being able to watch the planes and helicopters come and go, but the novelty wore off there. The food was tasteless, the fries stale, the service mediocre. $3 for a soft drink! Would not have paid full price to eat here. When... More

We went to Pilot Pete's over the weekend and had a great time. We were able to sit right next to the window by the runway and the kids had a blast watching the planes take off and land. They also asked lots of questions as to why the people were walking around the planes before they got in and... More

I have been here before as there are often times Groupons. This place is the best kept secret. The food is delicous, well priced and the quantity is surreal. We always walk out more impressed than the last time we were there. The service is amazing and the place is always jam packed but you never feel rushed or ignored.... More

Not many people are aware that there's a restaurant in the Schaumburg airport - but there is, and it's really good! We love the all you can eat fish... but pretty much everything is delicious! I've never been disappointed - and really enjoy their Mexican Cobb Salad. In fact, think it's time to go there to have one again soon!... More

We have been patrons for years, as have many friends, and the classic dishes like the pot roast, ribs and pan bakes have always been very good. and atmosphere/theme unique. But...it seems the appetizer preparation has really changed. In the past the huge onion rings and lobster nachos were a hit so this time we tried the Jumbo Chicken Wings... More
