This restaurant has great atmosphere and food to match. Portions are generous and service attentive. I had the tortellini pan pie which was a take on chicken Alfredo along with a cup of French onion soup. the soup was well seasoned with a very nice toasted cheese topping. The main course needed a bit more zip. My companions had fish... More

What a great find in the suburb. Nothing beats a restaurant overlooking the Schaumburg regional airport. The decor was great for plane buffs of all ages and likes. There is a flying school in the same building. Loved sitting in the purple plush airplane seats while waiting for a table. Bar had great beverage choices. Food was great, they split... More

I've never been here before and looked forward to this visit. Food was yummy, atmosphere was enjoyable with the knick knacks. Definitely do recommend to at least try out once if not more :)

We've been to this restaurant a number of times, especially for special events. We've even been to a couple of parties in the "Balloon Room". My son has picked this place for his birthday several times now, and picked it again today for his 14th. He loves aviation and has always enjoyed watching the planes take off and land on... More

What's Pilot Pete's? I don't know what that is but the reviews are really good, let's check it out. I'm glad we did. What a cool place to visit! We didn't check the history of the place, but it obviously got its start with fly-ins. We were attending a conference in Schaumburg and were looking for something different. That is... More

Went here for the themed dining for the kids and a view of the planes. It was a nice restaurant, the food was good and prices were fair.

I took my wife for Mother's day to Pete's. When I told the boys where we were going all three joined also. The menu was a little different than the usual, and Mom took her leftovers home for an additional meal. Portion size is great, chicken fingers, shrimp and ribs, chicken asiago, all were great.

We met some friends at Pilot Petes on a Friday early evening and the place was packed! There are no reservations available on Friday's. We had a 1 1/2 hour wait for a table. We did find a table to wait at in the bar. The people and wait staff were very friendly. They have a large menu selection to... More

I am not a big fan of chicken wings because I do not like them breaded and dfried. But these wings were not breaded and they were not greasy, they were awesome. They also were very hot. My boyfriend and I split an order and loved them so much we ordered another and a bottle of wine to wash away... More
