I didn't know what I was looking for exactly, but something spicy and different from the standard cold weather food I normally just order. It was early diner time 5:15 PM on a very cold Saturday evening ( March 1st ) just before a movie. I came across this entry named Jambalaya. It was the perfect blend of rice, chicken... More

The food was good. I got a bbq burger and fries, which was very good. My sister in law, got the beer can chicken, she said it was very good and the chicken was huge portion. Atmosphere at the restaurant was very pleasant and friendly, open space, tables were not crowded together. The wait staff was very nice and made... More

Just had a family get together at Stonewood. Work right down the street from this place, yet never been. That's now understood to be a mistake. This restaurant is excellent. The ambiance is that of an upscale pub and it has plenty of seating inside. Nice décor. The beer list is satisfying and there is an extensive menu. They say... More

Great fast service. The server knew the menu inside and out. Excellent food at reasonable prices. I would recommend anything off their wood grill. Super cold draft beers. Makes this my favorite comfort food and everything location.

This was a restaurant by my hotel, did not want to travel far due to weather so came on local recommendations. I was not disappointed as the food was good, service fast and efficient. I had the tavern flatiron steak which was very good with a generous cut. Mashed potatoes and vegetable are also generous portions. I had a Caesar... More

Went here for dinner with a buddy when we had business in Schaumburg. Waitress was very pleasant and attentive. Atmosphere was just OK, nothing special or interesting. Food was big in portion size but not in taste. My beer can chicken was under-cooked and my friend's prime rib was more fat and gristle than meat. Importantly, the name "Ale House"... More

We had chosen this restaurant based on reviews and description online to celebrate our friends recent wedding. Although the atmosphere was not at all what I expected (not bad, just not what we expected), the food was really good, our waitress was one of the best, friendliest and efficient that I've ever had anywhere!! This is a great place to... More

This is a excellent location and environment to enjoy the food they offer for a reasonable price.I would also like to point out that they are one of the few locations that offers not my fathers root beer on tap one of the best adult root beers they we have ever tasted. The steak sandwich is also great and very... More
