Soups, salads, sandwiches. Delicious. Limited seating but you can browse the bookstore while waiting for you table. Very attentive waiter. Will return.

Daughters and I have enjoyed fine lunches at this little restaurant. My girls loved the sandwiches and I've had great quiches. Soups also outstanding. We'll be back.

This restaurant is trendy and arty. The food /sandwiches were very good. I had a hummus melt and my husband had a meat sandwich and soup. The soup is homemade and the sandwiches are delicious. The service is excellent. There is a book store adjacent to this café. I would like to visit that next time

This is such a cute little cafe, I love going here on the weekends with friends and family. They don't have a huge menu, but everything on it is very yummy! They make a great mocha too!

This quaint little cafe is connected to an equally beautiful little bookstore in the heart of downtown St. Charles. Any time you are looking for a cozy lunch with a friend, this is the place to go! They offer soups, salads and sandwiches and a different quiche every day. I have tried numerous sandwiches and have never been disappointed. The... More

A standard stop for lunch on the week end. Fabulous soups and yummy sandwiches anytime of the year. Come summer, we switch to salads in the garden out back. Great old building, with ambience and friendly service.

Wonderful little, cozy place to have lunch. A nice variety of different and unique sandwiches to choose from. Check out the book store that is attached to the restaurant either before or after lunch. The river is only a block away and is a great way to get a little fresh air and exercise.

Worth visiting for sure! We found this by accident visiting downtown St. Charles. One block North of main street and a block off the beaten path. They are only open 10 to 3 during the week (I believe they have a Sunday brunch but didn't catch the hours) We ordered the Sweet potato soup and split a Turkey/Gouda sandwich on... More
