Nice decor, decent food

I've been here on several occasions. Food is good, not great. Decor is very good. Service is great. Not crowded at all at lunch. Great place for friends or couples.

This Irish-themed restaurant has a nice atmosphere (although kind of dark), cool old-fashioned lighting, a nice sized bar, and outdoor patio seating. I had a corned beef dinner and the cabbage/carrots were not cooked properly. They were pretty tough. The corned beef was just ok. My husband had shepherd's pie and loved it. The bathroom could be cleaner. They have... More

Great place to go for a beer, listen to some music and have a great time! The servers, barman and hostess are always welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended.

Conveniently located to several hotels in the area, we selected this restaurant because it was quiet enough for conversation but was in a great area. Typical bar food but better. Especially good was the Irish onion and cheddar soup was great. Other wait staff might be just as good, but Zac was our server and he was great. Prompt, seemed... More

I was visiting Chicago for the 1st and decided to meet up with an old friend after 2 years. Lots to catch up on. We were seated over in the corner. It was quiet so we could talk comfortably. We enjoyed a couple cocktails and had the recommended Mac N Cheese with Bacon. It was AWESOME! Parking was tough because... More

Guinness was very cold and refreshing.I had the fish and chips and it was probably the best I've ever had and the Cole slaw that came with it was also very good. Bartender was pleasant.

I was walking home after eating at the recommended place, in the very cold weather in Chicago at the moment, and decided to duck into this place to just warm up a little. Little did I know they had a special going on for $5 shots of different types of whiskey. They were all types of whiskey I had never... More

The Irish truly love their beverage and sweets and this is the place for both! Everything in between is just Ok and very greasy, unhealthy. The hostess and service was friendly and helpful yet the food was mediocre at best.

Came here with a group of 20. Service was excellent. Big selection of beers. I had the beef short ribs and would highly recommend it. I used my fork to cut it!! Very little fat on it. Sauce was very tasty.

Great Irish bar with all the food, beer, whiskey and atmosphere you could ask for while only steps away from multiple hotel options in Rosemont. Wide open place, which keeps the atmosphere low key while still attracting a good crown. Great wood decor interior gives Five Roses an great Irish bar feel in the heart of the Rosemont district. Fun... More
